Finally! Thank you Sir... I been looking for a video like yours, in which shows how to assemble this tool. I'm from Mexico and buying this framesaw it would be to expensive so I am trying to build it myself. I been trying to figure out how is the mortise and tenon joint made, specially the part which has been reinforced with a transverse little wood piece on one side of the saw between the brace and the arm. I'm guessing is just a "T" bride joint like this czcams.com/video/zg5RcsbrtZY/video.html. That part is still unknown for me, I would be very thankful if you give me some advice... Please correct me if I am wrong: the tenon on both sides is made out of piece of metal and it is shaped like those biscuit from jointer machines. I increase the resolution at maximum and that is as much as I can figure out. ... As you mention indeed using hand tools is a pleasure, and... I intend to find pleasure while build it as well!
@@j.palomera690 I will check tomorrow and I will let you know. Cheers, Heiko
i thought there was suppose to be 1/2" gap in between the bump stop n frame?

Question: I have a '76 R90/6 and I had learned a method to measure the fork oil levels by dipping from the top. I think one of my forks mayhave leaked a bit and want to balance the amount of oil to be the same in each. Anyone know what the level should be with the proper amount of oil (265cc). I show about 14.75cm in my forks now.
In my video description I am listing 437mm from the top is where the oil level is supposed to be.
Here is a link to an article about exactly that topic. bmwmotorcycletech.info/front-fork-oils-amounts.htm#:~:text=The%20oil%20level%20should%20be,is%20not%20touching%20the%20ground).
Are fiberglass shower pans more susceptible to cracking in pier and beam houses that inevitebly move a bit here and there? My shower pan just cracked and I heard a contractor say fiberglass pans sometimes will crack on pier and beam houses that move a bit.
@@weshagman6711 I am not an expert but I guess that can happen.
hi Titanium is scratch resistant but there is one problem, metal like Titanium getting with time oxidation and this thin layer will get so many scratches, I have 2 titanium watches and both looks like soft aluminium , coz this oxidation film on metal is so easy and ugly to sctatch.
Where did you get the dial would like one myself …!! Great video keep them coming
I have started another channel and started posting my watch content over there @Heikos-Watches . I got the dial from AliExpress.
I have a Zen3 5700X B2 revision, MSI B550 Mortar motherboard, 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16, RX6800 16GB and my power draw is at 290w maxed out in Furmark. once i under-vault the GPU and set the CPU to 45w eco mode i get to around 160w maxed out total draw. I use a power meter similar to that but made by Belkin
Maybe someone pointed out already but do you know about the Rdnunae homage? It's also an Aliexpress watch but it's the most faithful to the original Seiko.
I have seen those. Nice watch. I just wanted to build my own.
Thats pretty cool. Im seeing this as I wait for the parts to arrive for a Samurai GMT homage build Im gonna work on :D
"facilitate this" , "just a smidge" - alles klaas, Vilen danke.
Where did you find a dial without the stupid ProspeX logo?
Fantastic build video, im waiting on some fairly similar parts to build my own and im really looking forward to it, with an appropriate amount of dread and anxiety!
THKKKKKK YOUUUU
Late reply but it is normal for the day to advance slower than the date and take a few hours. I have authentic Seikos with day date complications that do this. Also to your confusion at 27:40 (“anyways that’s Chinese for something” made me chuckle) English is always first so it advances through the second language before going to the correct day in English. In your case it ticked over from Thursday to four in Chinese (四) before going on to Friday.
Thanks for the video by the way I’m looking forward to doing my own SKX homage soon, love the case shape and it’ll be fun to put my own touches on it.
what is part number for bearing and bolt? What parts group does it come under at Max BMW? Thanks.
23 13 1 238 422 this is the part # from MaxBMW.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
Just get a shower mat to cover it
You nailed it!
Does that kit include the wiring for the electronic braking wiring (blue/black wires)?
Yes, the pigtail has all the wires in it, including the signal for trailer brakes.
@@HeikosGarage thank you sir
Great video, thanks for posting! I have acquired the grease adaptor from cycleworks, but was wondering if you could please post a link for a grease gun that is compatible with it? thanks again.
I am using a regular standard grease gun for it. I bought mine at a Tractor Supply store.

Friend, should the NH35 movement be crown at 3.8
There are two versions of NH35, one is for a 3 o'clock position and the other is for a 4 o'clock position. As I understand it the 3 o'clock version can also be used for cases that have the crown at 3.8 due to the date wheel aligning with the window even when the crown is at 3.8. The 4 o'clock version is the one I used here. I know my crown is slightly past 4 o'clock but I haven't noticed no misalignment. You also have to make sure you get a dial with dial feet in the correct location for your installation. I guys I got lucky that it all worked out the way it did.
Gracias amigo
Nice! Is this mod holding up? No damage to the ball and sockets?
It works great
Nice restoration job! Do you have any recommendations on how you would apply the clear coat to avoid the pattern? Is the pattern still visible to this day?
I do not recommend my own method. The clear faded very quickly. If you have a way of spraying 2K paint, I would do that.
I was under impression that the plug on front was fluid check
You might be correct. It has been a long time since I even owned this vehicle. Good luck.

I have this sander. Was wondering how to hook up to dust collection. Now I know.
What is the difference between nh35 and nh35a?
Not sure. The NH35 is the version of NH movements with a date complication. Nh35a? Check this out. calibercorner.com/seiko-nh-caliber-differences/
@@HeikosGarage I cannot really find somewhere the difference. Day and day/date comes with nh35 and nh36 respectively. I think the a in every nh version has to do with different thickness?
hope you kept it

Hello Heiko, I'm from South Africa and am driving the nissan navara D40 essentially the same as your Frontier. Can you tell me if one gets front replacement bump stops for it from Super springs like in those for the Tacoma? Hope to hear from you soon

how much you pay motor ?

I think your case looks the same as what Rdunae used but the crown position they use is exactly at 4 o'clock your is probably at 4.10. Great job though.
Thanks

Does the seal has to be flash with the housing? Mine gone 1 mm about in. Thanks
That should be fine.
Hey Heiko greetings from Spain. Thanks for the video, many effort there. How did you manage to remove the old leaky seal? Any particular advice, tool, lever or something similar? I suspect that there is a problem with that seal in my father's 1981 bmw r65. When I rescued the bike out of a dusty garage the rear wheel was cover on coked oil and dust. After cleaning the wheel I kind of see through the little wheel orifices that the brake shoes are oily. I am planning to remove the rear wheel to inspect, replace the seal and the brake shoes and pray a bit. I was afraid of having to overhaul the rear drive but since I saw your video there is a chance. Thanks again.
The seal is accessible and was removable with a normal seal puller. A oily rear wheel sounds like a seal is leaking. Good luck.
I'm curious how they let the customer return an item that is overtly damaged. I'm still early in the video so I'm not sure if you address this
They did not tell me. But you are right, it is a bit strange.
The crown sticks out a fair bit, is there no need for a crown stem shortening?
not in this case. I checked. I am still wearing this watch weekly and the stem and crown engagement is perfect.
you can't delete the free play of rocker arms in that way, every single rocker arm support is centerd by itself, so you can adjust that play only mounting a custom bushing with the right thickness or let the engine rattle.
Use a piece of rodico to stick the hands to it. So you can manoeuvre the hands more easily and put them on faster.
Thanks for the tip.
I was surprised that, in fact, Shure still produces this mic. As of today, 5-04-24, it costs $149 on Shure's website. According to Shure's website, the capsule is identical to an SM57.. The body is nickel plated, and the transformer is multi-tapped for changing the impedance like the originals that used the Amphenol connector before the XLR..
Dial link is not working
Sorry but things go out of stock. Just search for a Willard dial. There are 100 different choices.
Years ago I installed a pair of Mikuni flat slide carbs on my '72 R75/5. Once I got them dialed in, they worked well for me. Sorry to hear that Rocky Point is out of business.
I like that you started your video with the American flag. I also like your beemer.

Did you ever get this valve train noise worked out? What was the cause?
I have a plan for another video, showing what can be done. Stay tuned.
