The diagram helped me big time
Fantastic build video, im waiting on some fairly similar parts to build my own and im really looking forward to it, with an appropriate amount of dread and anxiety!
Thats pretty cool. Im seeing this as I wait for the parts to arrive for a Samurai GMT homage build Im gonna work on :D
Late reply but it is normal for the day to advance slower than the date and take a few hours. I have authentic Seikos with day date complications that do this.
Also to your confusion at 27:40 (“anyways that’s Chinese for something” made me chuckle) English is always first so it advances through the second language before going to the correct day in English. In your case it ticked over from Thursday to four in Chinese (四) before going on to Friday.
Thanks for the video by the way I’m looking forward to doing my own SKX homage soon, love the case shape and it’ll be fun to put my own touches on it.
hi Titanium is scratch resistant but there is one problem, metal like Titanium getting with time oxidation and this thin layer will get so many scratches, I have 2 titanium watches and both looks like soft aluminium , coz this oxidation film on metal is so easy and ugly to sctatch.
Me to in titanium to would be great!!! Better than real one... All titanium.. ;) Waiting some parts...
Great video ! Its exactly what i want to do
Nice work Heiko.
Thank you. I have more content coming. These all older videos that I originally posted on Heiko's Garage but I figure they could have their own channel.
@@HeikosGarage yes definitely 👍🏻
This is very nice work, and very detailed and simple how you put it together, although I know this is a very technical thing to do, I have been wanting to do this for so long but could never find what I really needed in terms for the watch build itself, You listed everything which is amazing! I am hoping to order all these items, One question I do have as it will bug me is the day/date issue, is there a NH36 movement in just english? Or is it always in both Chinese and english?
Also my other questions, Are you able to provide the details on the tools used in this video so that I am able to buy what I need to build the watch, As I think or I know once I do my first I will then be looking to do more haha!
I looked around and I can only find dual language versions. Here is an eBay link that gives you some choices. www.ebay.com/itm/265107186167?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=vXv0KsLJST6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=KRVEXulBSv-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Is there a small vacuum cleaner with less power you can use to deal with the dust in the back of the watch . I'm considering getting into the hobby
You would usually use something like this to get rid of dust. Giottos AA1910 Medium Rocket Air... www.amazon.com/dp/B000L9OIQC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
@@HeikosGarage I have seen them but don't they just move the dust around I have seen small rechargeable vacuums on Amazon that's why I asked
@@allanguy2522 that is what watch makers use.
Is the lume C3? Thanks for your time! 😊
I am not sure what time they used. I'll check on the listing in AliExpress.
I just checked. Yes, it is C3.
El bisel no quedó centrado con el indicador de las 12 hrs
it is, I checked.
