Why say fuel use percentage change when towing? Why not least fuel used towing and unladen? Makes it seem like Hilux uses less fuel but it doesn't

1 minute in and I can already see a major flaw in your test, the Mahindra has all its weight behind the rear wheels on account of it being a double cab, meanwhile the land cruiser has its weight in front of the rear wheel. If you're trying to compare vehicles you have to actually remove the variables, not add more variables...

This is all well and good, but i often wonder as i pump gas at a gas station bathing in invisible toxic carciogenic fumes through my skin and into my respiratory system, i see multiple EV's cruising quietly and comfortably by me as my money is clicking away on the read out dial on the pump...the dollar amount far exceeding the amount of fuel pumping in.....WHY on earth am i standing here wollowing in gas fumes standing on filthy pavement covered in rainbow patterened toxic oil and gasoline from leaking i.c.e cars previously parked here as they pepetually refill all that leaking burning gas and oil getting belched out the tailpipe and onto the pavement and the bottom of my shoes...yikes!..why oh why...there must be a way out of this toxic perpetual gas pumping never ending money draining cycle..oh wait..there goes a tesla model 3..gliding quietly and gracefully by....THERES ANOTHER ONE! This one a white model Y...cruising by smoothly as a gull gliding through the air..the solution is right in front of me everytime i pump gasoline..all the silent EV's driving by...no oil...no gas...no toxic fumes as they are driving , no burning oil or wasted gone forever combusted gasoline out the back....just emmissions free operation as they are moving. Ahhhhhhh! Suddenly a warm fresh breeze comes over me..ckearing the toxic fumes....Eureaka!!!!!!Yes that is what solves this entire toxic cycle. DUH. So on top of filling up all time mguy thinks driving around with a 5 gallon tin can of flammable toxic fume emmitting gasoline sloshung around in the trunk or truck bed ir back seat is efficient?????? BWAAAA haaaaa haaa haaaa haaaa haaa!!!!! WOW! just. WOW! Why not just strap the tank to your back and walk around with those milijoules of slishing toxic energy...never know when youll need it! Bwa ha ha ha..insanity

Funny, we just drove to LA from Houston in R1S. With the adapter we charged at Tesla superchargers with the exception of 3 Rivian chargers and 1 EA. Arriving in LA we went to Santa Monica 60 stall SC. All smooth. Would not attempt the trip without the SC access.

Well the V8 is an agricultural engine. You could drag race a tractor and the auto 2.8 will win. However there are 6 speed GM auto conversion V8’s out there yet we haven’t seen that comparison. Most towing comparisons show very little fuel consumption difference. It certainly highlights how hard that 2.8 is working with just 4 cylinders and almost double the turbo boost pressure to do the same job. I’ll have the lazy V8 that has zero stress dragging 10t through a paddock everyday and loosing drag races.

Very nice looking car but the overall packaging seems poor, poor screen resolution, boot space practicality, etc.

If I cant disable the driver monitoring system permanently this is a non-starter for me. Like many people who live on the road I drive with one hand at 12o’clock how did they mess up the location of the unit so badly. Put it in the internal rear view mirror, it’s always in the driver eye line, can easily be swapped for LHD and RHD. While they are at it… make it switch on after 1hr of motion…

When I think french cars I don't think reliable and trustworthy. But Ive never owned one so I'm not sure why I have these thoughts. Can any owners tell us what they are like to own?

The last time I filled up my little car, it took at least 5 minutes and perhaps as long as 10 - for a full tank of Premium Unleaded and somewhere around 300 miles of range. I could then jump in and drive for all of that distance before repeating that simple "splash & dash" process - or I could park it for a month or two and still have all the available range remaining when I started the car next time. If and when the - already struggling - charging "Infrastructure" (or lack of) ever allows a similar speedy replenishment of any vehicle's potential travelling distance - or "Range - then may sensible folk look on whatever form that particular vehicle takes, with favour. Though as things stand right now, that is NEVER going to happen. The EV bubble is about to burst...
