I am new to quilting and this would be the first video I see of a fabric store with lots of questions. What are those big panels used for where you hold up the fabric and it looks like a 3' x 6' panel, what do you do with those?? Also it looks like your shelves are stocked full of fabric and yet you're unboxing so much more. What do you do with all that inventory and then adding more boxes to it all?? And then my last question is when I decide on a block that I want to make how do I know how much fabric to order to turn that block into a quilt?? Like I said I'm new to quilting and my head is just spinning with all the different blocks to choose from and all the different fabrics, it is like my brain is saying too much input!!!

It would have been nice to have put up a photo of a Rail Fence Quilt at the beginning for those of us who don't know what it is.

If this came in triangles, you could use two layers of fabric plus this interfacing as a guide to make half square triangles jiffy quick!

I love watching this and have tried watching it several times. It would be nice if you could slow down and show the directions of the fabric strips. You're moving the fabric so quickly it's difficult to see which direction you are sewing them together

A Bernina # 57 foot (the gated foot) is my most valued possession. With on needle click to the right (the foot will accommodate 2 clicks as will the straight stitch plate) you get a perfect scant quarter, and a perfect quarter with no adjustment. The foot glides over seams (unlike the flimsy flanges on other 1/4" feet) and does not toe out. I can production sew (as you often do) and have perfect results. No futzing with ledges and all sorts of workarounds.
