The Quilted Forest is located at 205 North Clark in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.

The "binding" fabrics at the end - such an interesting idea. The cut lines had me fooled (2.5 wide?) until I saw your fingers next to one and I could gauge by that. Loved the yellow floral.

It's super easy to get here from the Twin Cities! Just take I-35 south for a couple hours. The Forest City exit is 2 exits south of Diamond Jo Casino.

How do your hands not getting dirty unpacking all these bolts? One box of bolts and my hands are filthy! I don't even want to touch the fabric until after washing them. And that's with them being wrapped in plastic even!
