You're the neighbors I hope for but never have. I'm sipping on my morning coffee getting tips while my harness is being delivered.
Would like to see some black steeling and caps on it though! :)
The best love your work mate Curtis from Australia.
Just wondering if you used weld through primer to protect the metal before stitch it all together ?
Hi what brand of roof skin? Thank you so much
I purchased this roof skin from Classic Parts of America don’t remember the brand name
@@Gibson63.thank you so much😊
Got a questions I have not see many with the Spare Tire on the fender. Was there a different ID for that model ?? Like there is a Fleetside, step side ?
Don’t know to much on these 59 Apaches but I haven’t seen many myself with the spare tire on the fender
So what wiring kit was that?
We need a new video! I know they’re a lot of work and slow down your progress but man we learn a lot from you. You do some awesome builds. Thank you !
Thanks man Been busy at work lately I’ll be back on the black 63 soon installing the wood bed
@@Gibson63. hell yes!
Beautiful truck Gibby. It shows your passion for the unit and your attention to detail man. Stunning. The bed floor looks awesome. Great job.
I needed a pic of the glove box inside mine 1963 and Cj pony parts sent one but in is to small in height and it screws in place but 1.25 inch gap under the box , I have the hinge coming maybe it takes up that space ?
Cool truck!
Great work!!
I love all three trucks. You have done a lot of good work…..I sure miss my 65 Chevy 1/2 ton
that should work for a floor shift as well??? Thank you!

Parabéns meu amigo ótimo trabalho

great video, thanks
Are you using a Manual Transmission column? Does it work with an automatic trans?
Man I'd love to own that truck - if decide to move it please keep me in mind
Thanks Brother Gibson. Another lesson saved for me to refer back to when I get to my 61 and 62. We appreciate Your lessons. Be blessed. Truck Driver Ray ✝️
Looks good, as usual.
did you build the hoist adapter or make it?
Did you order the wiring through the LMC
The black truck and the light blue truck, did you undercoat under the cabs?
The blue truck was undercoated under cab complete, haven’t got to the black truck yet I’ll catch it when I redo the wood in the bed. Video should be coming up soon.
Because of your videos on c10 repair i restored my 1962 c10 that was my great grand fathers when he bought it new and used it on his farm in Tx. It was my first vehicle to drive in high school back in 1990. Then over covid i restored it my garage and now i drive my kids around in it every weekend. thanks Gibson for all the help and now i can create memories for the next generation to pass it on to.
Have you ever rebuilt one of those steering gear boxes?
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you
Is that same taking apart C10 65😊
I know this one goes back awhile, but do you remember where you got your brake lines? I am doing the same set up. Manual disc/drum. No booster. I called In-line Tube and they have brake line kits for power disc or manual drum with dual M/C. Still searching but figured I would ask just in case.
I ordered parts from a lot of different places back then I’m sure I have a receipt but my guess is (Classic industries)
@@Gibson63. I think I looked there too. I may end up getting the kit for disc conversion that is used for power brakes and hope there is enough slack in the coils in the lines for the MC that I can re bend them to fit. Thanks for getting back again to my questions.
👍
I have no holes in front panel and lip about 1/2” in width it all looks original ?
Mighty fine workmanship!
That white cottony stuff is called Dacron. It’s used to let the seat cover slide onto the seat frame easily.
You know Steve,we have one thing in common,we both like trucks from the 1960’s.I have to admit though you go beyond what I would take on with that windshield,I tried it once when I was a kid & broke it, so I know it’s not something I’d tackle on my own.but you’re truck is looking sharp brother. You can’t find those trucks here in New Mexico, without paying through the nose for them.glad you were able to find it.I enjoy your videos, thanks for showing, retired mechanic in Las Cruces New Mexico.👍🏼💯
Thank for watching I’ll be doing the bed wood soon been having fun with this old truck going to a few car shows and cruise in
you suppose to bleed the brakes by bleeding the first furthest from the master cylinder first. the the second third and last its suppose look like a Z.
Amazing thanks for sharing
Fantastic!
I Love your work but wouldn't an air hammer be better to punch out spot welds?
Where did you buy your seat cover? Nice job 👍!!
Classic industries
Damn fine job sir!
Man, 9:26 !she’s lookin good daddy’o!
Nice😀😀
That came out great. I really like the repairs you did. Nice!
Thank you
Could you get away with going even lower before the axel hit the frame ? Curious on how low you could get with having to c notch the frame thanks
That's a lot of intense work, But it all showed up at the end. Great job, you deserve a pat on the back.
I am working on a 71 C20. And your videos have helped me learn and figure things out, i have pretty much zero experience welding and fabrication. But today i just put in a bed side patch where a saddle tank fuel door used to be. Any advice on mig welder settings for better welds on sheet metal for these old trucks ?
Very nice seat upholstery nicer than stock. Really good instructional.video.thanks
Beautiful work 👏 👌 😍 🙌
