Do you have a video where you do low n slow sliced ribs?
Would love cooking recommendations? Time temp etc?
Your chicken looked really juicy... nice job... I always cook mine over direct heat but must give your technique a try.
Ooooh ain’t not better than cooking direct. Awesome flavor.
Looking good man. Great techniques. Keep it up
I appreciate it. Thank you!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! 🍻
God Love You and your Mom. There is nothing better to put in your mouth than a good mole. The jars at the store are good for collecting juice glasses, but nothing near the bliss I've cooked from scratch. Lie. I only cooked one mole from scratch that I love, two were ok. I think it was Poblano, but I lost the recipe and still can't find it online. Mole should be promoted and shared with the world and the best damn sauce ever created in the history of civilization! And that's speaking as a half French person. (Mom' side gots lots of Spanish/Sonoran Mexican) MOAR Mole Please!
Thanks for taking a look! mole is my favorite. I made a lot last time and keep putting it in everything. I smothered some ribs with it and they were very good! czcams.com/video/Ry-xNbxRLZU/video.htmlsi=ETrAXz6atLq3Tp9t Pork and mole are awesome!
Thank you
Sliced hundreds. Don’t really matter.
Fair enough
So, this kind of like the snake method but with the ability to use more charcoal? I would assume this allows more than a "couple" of hours, if it allows you to do a shoulder or brisket. What made you decide to come up with a different method?
Its a slight modification to the minion method. I wanted a slower, lower burn on my wsm
@@SJCOOKS I never had a problem getting 9 hours+ on mine, but then again I'm rarely interested in going long for something like brisket. Usually the longest I'm willing to go is a shoulder
I love tacos d lengua. It's super tender n delicious
Yes they are. It’s my favorite!
Love chicken thighs the best for something to do quickly without much pecooking preping. But I won't do an entire chicken or even just chicken breasts anymore without without even a simple 12 hour salt brine. I tried it once about a year ago and what a differemce it makes, not so much for the dark meat, but for white meat its absolutely necessary anymore for me. That brine took what used to be dry, stick in your throat, hard to swallow chicken, to incredible tender, juicy chicken. Im a big fan of salt brine anymore, even pork chops benifit from it.
excellent advice! If someone has the time, a brine will def make the chicken better, especially the breast. I do dry brine usually but last year I made a video on a wet brine turkey and became a fan of the wet brine again.
@@SJCOOKS Yep, I'm talking wet brine, sorry I didn't specify.
Man ! I’m hungry now. Great job
Thanks so much!
Man you deserve a lot more attention. Great content!
Hey! Thanks so much. I appreciate the comment. Grill on!
Great looking burgers. That lamson spatchula is wide and makes a great press.

Excellent choice!
Knocked this out the park Primo... Great cook man.
Thanks for checking it out! (Make sure you hit that affiliate code for the camera lol jp)
Bro! Love onion burgers and THIS onion burger is legit!
I appreciate it bro! These were delicious!
Awesome cook Sal!
Thank you so much!
One of my favorite burgers! Rock On Sal! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
they are delicious! thanks Sal!
73/27 store bought ground beef works amazing in these burgers. The biggest think I've learned doing these is go hotter with the grill than you'd think and thinner on the smash than you'd like.
you are absolutely correct. thinner and hotter seem to be key
Sal, you're still young, you'll learn to smash harder as you get older😂🤣😂👍🏼🍻🇺🇸
LMAO! I walked right into that one! I hope you have a happy 4th bro
@@SJCOOKS you too Sal.......yep, like a blind guy into a closed door😂🤣😂 I couldn't help myself👍🏼🍻🇺🇸
Bro....I haven't made Oklahoma Onion Burgers in a minute....and those look mighty fine only thing different I would do is add a couple pickles slices and Mustard.
you are correct! i threw some mustard and pickles on my 2nd round the next day and they were terrific!
Those look great Sal!!!👍👍✌🤪
thank you! these were delicious. already making plans to make them again tomorrow
More onions is always a good thing. Those burgers look amazing. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
yes, I kinda went lighter than i wanted haha. i kinda forget how much onions cook down
Sal that was a tasty looking burger Santa Maria seasoning is my favorite next time I’m in Downey I’ll check out El Cortez market.👍🍔
el cortez meat market is awesome! you def gotta get some short rib and their arrachera
Don’t get mad bro but I’m totally going to try this recipe !! Good job man !

Thanks taking a look!
When you showed some of this vid on your live I thought you were squirting a butter concoction, great video Sal the talk over is a benni. great interaction with the viewers TY
now that you said that, I wannna to baste my tritip with some compound butter next time. Good stuff. Thank Lance!
Those pics are a thing of beauty. New sub for sure
I appreciate you watching, thank you!
That tri tip wow! I agree about soaking up the juices it makes it even better! Great video and tips.
Yes it does. I usually like chopping up my tritip and mixing it in the juices. So much flavor there.
Nice. I love lengua. The food truck I get it from, they add lettuce, tomatoes and slice of avocado. Any reason most ppl don’t add those?
Do you like them that way? That’s what’s important. Thought It’s not traditional to use lettuce, tomatoes and avacado, I don’t see why you couldn’t add them, especially if you like it that way.
Thanks for including me in your show. I have a lot of respect for what you do, and I think the integrity you demonstrate in you videos, is what I respect most. I am sure we can work on a project together. You have like 10 rib videos already, but I think we can do better. I'm near the Gulf Coast if you are ever this way. Let me know if you need anything, and I'll do the same. Grill On 🔥 brother
Thank you very much. I appreciate you dropping in.
@SJCOOKS I was thinking I would use a recipe of yours in my next video. That will be slow cook to demo a new product, but if you have a recipe for the WSM22 I can do that and link it back to one of your videos, along with a shout-out. If that works.
Hey Sal! Hey brother, I really appreciate you shouting me out on your channel. Much respect to you and what you do. I’m definitely going to try those Italian dressing marinated ribs. I cannot believe I went to all that trouble of getting everything ready and didn’t have the dressing. That is usually the way it goes at my house.
Haha. Happens all the time. Just the other day I was going to make quesadillas and guess who didn’t have flour tortillas? lol
Hey brother I just released a carnitas video in case you missed it and it’s a super easy recipe In the oven! My moms recipe
