Um, if you're only putting it in there to avoid clean-up, put it under the basket, not in the basket.

I recently switched from a single to a duel air fryer. The one thing I have found out is that if you just use one side you get a full effect of an air fryer. However, if you use both baskets for different items, it tends to be double the time because if it's listed as a 1700 w oven, each basket one in use really only shares 850 watts per drawer which takes longer to cook because right now if I put let's say sausage on one side and french fries on the other. It actually takes 22 minutes where if I just cook the french fries by themselves, it would only take approximately 10 minutes
