Nice info, I didn't know the XXL could do that. I have just been running mine at the desired temperature for 4 mins before putting the food in, but now I've found out it gets there quicker than that.

Preheating depends on what you are making. I always preheat my air fryer.

Preheating doesnt make sense to me bc the heat escapes, im not that fast at getting stuff in there 😅. Also its hot when you take it out so i always think im going to burn myself. I may have dropped some food in some attempts 😅😅😅

Doesn't the pan get hot when you preheat it? Making it unsafe to put food after the airfryer is done preheating.

The exterior of the air fryer gets a bit warm, but not hot. Only the internal pan heats up.

No worry, I think around 3 minutes preheating is perfect. An indicator is not really that necessary.
