Rhythm games are most popular in asia in arcade culture. All of this doesn't apply to the majority of rhythm game players. Most of them are playing sound voltex, chunithm, iidx, ddr, pui, pop'n, etc. and most avoid games like osu or "simulator" rhythm games as it's full of copyright violations
