Autism is a spectrum. Those high functioning have drastically different lives than those who are low functioning. Wanting to help cure or prevent low functioning doesnt have to mean attacking those that are high functioning. Support can be different for differently abled people.

Bro i have so mamy hyperfixations that are so different from each other. One moment im talking about fantasy books i've read (Harry Potter, Lockwood & Co, Percy Jackson), and the next i'm talking about docuseries about (Nature, True crime, and Horror *Based off a real story*) My parents are in the verge of thinking: "She's going to be realistic and creepy" to "She's probably gonna grow up to be a writer with theories of every single detail of what she reads *whilst also trying to keep the idea that witches and demigods are real*, and a person who sells fandom hoodies.

Doctors are just handing out autism passes for anyone i feel like they've just got bored and started diagnosing any annoying person like this that they have to work with. It's just called a preference.
