I’m so excited to get and read this book! I’ve recently been diagnosed with adhd, and am also questioning autism. I’ve been struggling for a long time because I’m “different”, struggling with adhd and my mental health. Finally talking to someone and learning about this I’ve started medication to help, I’m finally finding my self and learning that it’s okay and I can be me. Thank you so much for making the content you do and being the advocate you are for all neurodivergent people! You have me and so many other people and you continue to.
How do I find myself? I feel like I know some of who I am but not all of it, and that worries me.
I’m not autistic but I’m blind and I relate to a lot of what you say. I’m so so proud of you!! This video made me teary eyed.

@@jordan8636 you can't write a comment on braille can you?! They probably use text to speech and voice assistants. I've seen someone legally blind use them.
@@nikitatavernitilitvynova there isn’t a bluetooth braille keyboard, but there is a braille keyboard you can use instead of the letters on the keyboard we’re using right now.
I just wanted to say, thank you. You seriously saved my life. I have really bad anxiety and am also non binary. A couple of months ago, I decided to talk to the principal about who I am. He expelled me and said I was crazy. You can imagine the toll this took on a neurodiverse, non binary, anxiety filled minor. I was ready to not exist. I was trying to write a goodbyes to my parents and siblings, and for some reason I ended up scrolling CZcams and I saw one of your videos. I put down the knife. I am now a much healthier (and thankfully homeschooled)! I have a hyper fixation on acrobatic gymnastics ( I’m in a mens 4 ) and I am now in a Senior International Level 10 group! I will go to Gold Coast, Portugal and hopefully Las Vegas ☺️! Please respond to this comment and look out for me at the World Acro Championships! BTW : acrobatic gymnastics is kinda like those people in the circus who do human skipping and my specialty is doing a one handed handstand on someones head! ♥️

I was diagnosed with Autism in April this year and am still trying to come to terms with it. As you said, I feel lost and alone, like this world isn't for me. I just know your book will enlighten, strengthen and inspire me, it's exactly what I need and I'm so happy that your fairy tale has come true! I recently started following you and am in awe of what you do and the messages you spread. Aww! I picked up your book at Big W about 3 months ago because it looked striking and the title was catching. I began to read the first few pages... and then I realized that I was on chapter 5 and still standing in the book aisle! I knew that I was autistic, but didn't know what to do about it or what was next for me. I bought the book and read it twice cover to cover. It helped me so much. I bought another copy for my mum and for a friend. They both love it and it's been amazing to see the difference in them. I've recommended it to a lot of other people, even if I don't know them. I even recommended it to a new friend today. It is definitely worth buying... regardless if you are neurodivergent or not. Seeing this video today... looking at your book for the first time was so emotional, I couldn't stop crying. To see you so happy was amazing and watching you stim made me so proud. "Stim, you beautiful person!" I said to the screen. Continue to be beautiful, Chloe!
i just finished watching heartbreak high and LOVED Quinni and how u played her. i related so, so much to the anxieties, the stressful situations, being overwhelmed and everything about her and how amazing you were in it! i’m pretty sure i am on the spectrum but i haven’t gotten a diagnosis yet, anxiety!! 🥺

Last week I bought the Kindle edition along with the Audible version, as well as the Kobo one. I also bought two physical copies, kept one and gave a friend the other. Bought a third physical copy to gave away to someone else. Listened/read it last weekend and LOVED it! Awesome, amazing and a wonderful book!

This is awesome, I'm so happy for you and thank you for taking the time to actually write and make ot happen. Had an awful day, knew I needed to stay home from work but the boss wouldn't answer to let me get the day off. Ended up shaking terribly and yelling in the breakroom and felt so pissed and humiliated and let down. Havnt seen a video here in a long time but I was sitting there so mad at the bus stop and suddenly thought of your channel and knew it would help me smile. There's a lot of work done educating people about what's really going on with autism and how to make ot better for everyone. You may never see the full impact of your book but I'm sure it's gonna make a difference for a lot of people. I'm going to go buy it right now and considering getting some extra copies to pass around work. Thanks again, have a beautiful day!
I saw your book yesterday in a bookshop in Durham (UK) and recognised that it was yours as I used to watch you a couple of years ago. Wow, awesome! Congratulations, Chloe!! You're definitely transforming a perspective on autism, or even, I'd say in general, how we people can treat each other and hence create a better world.

I just heard you were considering giving up on social media because of all the allistic chuds hating on your stimming, and I gotta say I LOVE your videos, I love you being your natural autistic self & expressing your joy at all the things that make you happy and excited. I mostly had that kind of thing suppressed, growing up in the 70s & 80s, but channels like yours make me feel less like a fucking alien in this world. You're a good'un, Chloe. It'd be a real shame if you weren't around any more.

How did I miss this! I am so excited to get this book. Apparently it’s not available where I live until 4/4/23, but I see the audiobook read by YOU will be out 11/1/22, so I pre- ordered the audio and will order the book when it’s out. I am going to be so glad to listen to it first for my self and then to read it to my kids too. I’m sure once my kids are old enough to read they will enjoy reading it too.

I love your book! I downloaded the e-book and I'm reading it now. I started reading it yesterday evening and I had to laugh, smile, and cry at points because it made me feel so seen and heard! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and thank you for the greaz tips and analogies in the book! You are an amazing person and the way you've embraced your personality is an inspiration to me.
As I read the book, I totally hear it in my mind as if you were reading it in your voice, which is an added bonus because I like your voice and think you have the coolest accent. 🤗

You are amazing Miss Chloe! You inspire me. I was recently assessed as Autistic and have experienced discrimination at work since coming out as Aspie. It crushed me and I ended up off sick and on anti-depressants.
I watched your videos and your phrase "I am different, not less," has become my battle cry.
I am so excited to read your book (I'm UK based and have pre-ordered it on kindle). I have been looking for a book to pass on to others who are also at the beginning of their autism journey that will let them know that being autistic means they are different, not less, and never alone.
Purple I went through a similar situation of being discriminated, harassed and bullied at my old workplace in a hospital it was horrible. I didn’t know I was autistic at that stage but I was put through hell for being different. Believe it or not it was because I was liked and praised by all the patients I looked after, the other staff and bosses hated it. I was liked because I showed empathy and compassion towards patients in their times of need, which is the way I would have wanted to have been treated if I were in their position. Nurses need to be caring and that is exactly what I was like in my profession until I had to resign due to illness and the stress caused by the awful treatment that I received from my boss and colleagues. It’s a long story but needless to say I totally under Purple what you went through and that your not alone stay strong. Your different not less.

I work in residential youth mental health.
I get a lot of autistic young people through my doors and as a self identified autistic with diagnosed adhd I struggle to advocate to my neurotypical peers for the clients like me.
Finding good resources is also SUPER hard.
(Even in the professional sphere)
I love what you do online and professionally and am super grateful for this opportunity to bring your voice into the place I work in a way the NTs will hopefully take on board.

I bought your book recently and its the only book I've been able to finish since highschool. I haven't been able to get through and thoroughly enjoy reading since year 9 so thank you for that experience. I'm planning to lend it to members of my family and even have my friends and partner wanting to buy their own copies to understand me more and themselves! :)

I cannot wait to order this book for myself and my daughter she has just her autism diagnosis at 16 after fighting for 11 or so years to be heard but have found the most fabulous psychologist who herself is autistic she has been amazing and I have just found out myself at 42yrs old I am also autistic which came as a shock but hope to embrace it just as my daughter has fully embraced it thankyou chloe for your channel its been fabulous for my daughter and myself too.

Thank you Chloe for using your platform and writing your book. I was diagnosed with "mild to moderate aspergers" very young (this was in 1999) but not told about it and discovered the diagnosis when I was 13 and unpacking boxes after moving house. I was in denial about it because I'd already been exposed to so much terrible media (including a grossly ableist short story a girl in my English class wrote that won the Whitlam Institute Writing Competition ... and Gough was one of my special interests for a long time for some reason so that one's just sacrilegious) and had a really poor understanding of what autism is. I really wish 13-year-old me could have been able to watch your videos and read your book. I hope that other fellow autistic people, as well as parents and teachers (ESPECIALLY teachers) read this book. There's so much to be gained from it.
Do you have plans to do an audiobook? It would make it more accessible for dyslexic and blind folks and also I’d love to hear you read it!
