Just noticed that the front camera on the new iPad Pro is a little bit off-center...

Removing the mmWave 5G makes sense to me it sucks so much power and it’s only really rolled out in the US so for the iPhone it makes sense to do a separate sku but for the iPad it was probably too much cost to make one version for the US and one for the rest of the world with how many 5G iPads they predict to sell.

FYI the nano tech is not like paper and definitely not like paperlike. You may have missed it but other reviewers have already confirmed why it’s on higher tier. Charging is not the same either for Apple Pencil hence why it doesn’t work … DUDE did you do any research??

Apple does the same thing again and again and every 🍎 🐑 including myself acts surprised. They like the same formula and we just need to accept it.

It’s not meant to be a replacement for your Mac. It’s meant to be a more powerful, updated iPad when compared to previous models. Every year, we hear the same weird comments about iPad and iPad OS that come down to “Well, I’m not able to do on an iPad what I do on my Mac so therefore it’s not a replacement for my Mac.” Perhaps…FOR YOU. What y’all really want is a touch screen Mac at the end of the day, & that does not appear to be in the immediate plans for Apple for whatever reason. If you have a workflow involving the use of an operating system that can run the software possessing the flexibility, versatility, file access, and overall production capabilities necessary to be productive in your workflow, then you need a Mac. But you already know that, but it’s cute to whine about it every new iPad release because it’s what you see over and over online in the comment section and it gets likes. This kid continuously says on his Podcast he only uses his iPad for media consumption. But year after year, he voices the same complaint about-again-the iPad not being able to do Mac stuff when he already will often have amongst the most most powerful portable MacBooks Pro available in any given generation.

Ipads are ipads. If youre not a student or artist or niche of content creators that prefers ipad workflows over mac os--then youre not the intended "pro user". Ipad (pros) are already well tuned machines for the clients and workbase that apple intends. Anyone "complaining" or wanting more from it need to realize we are asking for a triangle in a square peg. It doesnt seem like apple will ever shift it into the machine we envision it as. Wwdc _could_ change this, but i doubt that. Weve said it time and time again and im over believing such a thing is possible. I own an ipad, and while i do have specific ipad things that i use it for, i just live knowing it will never be my daily machine or go to device, despite how capable it could be.

Yup. I am not impressed, really, at all. I have the M2 MacBook Air, and I absolutely love it. In my over 25 years of doing digital media, this is truly the best computer that I have ever owned. In the iPad department, I have the most recent iPad mini, only because iPad doesn't really fit into my life, al that much. Clearly, I am not the demographic for it. 🤷🏽 @apple

I’m guessing Apple removed the second camera to prevent users from recording Spacial Video on iPad for some reason 🤔 since we know the base iPhone 16 is switching camera modules for this exact purpose.

I'm intrigued with the camera layout of the Pro. Is it a last minute they have decided to remove the ultrawide camera and put the LiDar sensor there, and what's the random black spot there? Not so Apple move. Note that the upcoming iPhone series will return the horizontal camera layout for the iPhone to be able to capture videos for the VisionPro but not on the latest iPad?

So i have the macbook air M1, if i want to upgrade to this piece of crap i need to 1. Sell my 2nd generation appe pencil, buy the new one 2. Sell my magic keyboard, buy the new one 3. Sell my old ipad, buy the new one That's a lot of effort just to get a boost on performance. They tried to build an ecosystem inside an ecosystem 🤣

I have the 14 pro max and I wish I would’ve kept my 12 pro max cause it’s all the same. I said if this year it isn’t any different then next year when the new galaxy comes out I might have to switch.

According to a recent Geekbench leak the M4 is stated to be SLOWER than the M3 at 3.93Ghz whereas the M3 is at 4.05Ghz.

I thought they shifted some of the magnetic/charging components for the Apple Pencil which is why the 2nd gen doesn’t work with the Pros anymore
