IMO they should keep the iPads the same thickness but add more cooling and battery
Facts, they’re thin enough now let’s use the extra space for cooling, battery size and more base storage
The current iPad Pro bends very easily and is already extremely Thin so making it thinner is so dumb.

@@naim3968bends easily is pretty debatable. I’ve had a 12.9 M1 since they launched, and can’t imagine any way someone could bend one unless they’re trying to or do something stupid like sit on it.

yes i agree, i've been quietly waiting for them to update the mini series because it excels as a "Tablet" and not a "laptop replacement". The OS is flawed, you can't use a mobile phone os on a bigger screen and call that a laptop
yea like u said. the biggest thing holding ipad back is the software. its so disappointing that they just don't update it meaningfully. would be interesting if maybe 3rdparty appstores could fix at least some of that stuff.

Needs the front facing camera on top in landscape mode! That alone would make it a worthwhile upgrade… I finally can use if for business.

The iPad Pro is confirmed to have a landscape front facing camera, according to iPadOS 17.4 beta (“Turn iPad to landscape to activate Face ID). Question now is: where to charge the Apple Pencil?? Also, I’m hoping the iPad Air gets the landscape front facing camera too; planning to FINALLY replace my 10.5” iPad Pro I got since December 2018. 12.9” iPad Air + landscape front camera + M3 = the perfect iPad for me!
Speaking of M3, I’m hearing iPad Air is gonna have the M3, so hopefully the iPad Pro gets an M3/M3 Pro option like in Mac (you get to choose between M3/M3 Pro/M3 Max/M3 Ultra)

And with doing that with a M3 Chip there could be thermal throttling. Plus, you can bend an Ipad Pro presently. Making it thinner means it will be easier to bend it in half.

If I could choose between the iPhone or MacBook MagSafe, I’d rather the MacBook MagSafe (& hopefully that could hint more to a more macOS experience rather than an iOS experience in a bigger device)

Hello, any news on the new Apple TV? Will there be an update this year, possibly with the A17 Pro or M1 chip to play AAA games on the Apple TV? Also, I'm interested in your opinion on the idea of Sony and Apple teaming up to bring a gaming console to the market. Is it realistic that this could be presented as "one More thing" at the next Apple event?
They need to move the front facing camera to the side. I know they did with the base iPad and had issues with where to put the Apple Pencil magnets but spoiler alert put it on the shorter side like the surface pros used to do. Easy fix.

I would actually not be a fan of adding a screen to a homepod, I have a Google nest hub max and I feel it’s already starting to show its age with functions ands speed. I think a much better idea is to have the iPad MagSafe dock to a home pod and function that way. Then I can update the iPad down the line without replacing a great sounding speaker…

I'd say to check out the affinity apps, they're desktop class on the ipad and they're a one time payment
Any desktop app! bump up the screen size and add the pencil which will be great for navigation in macOS just like i do with a pen tablet plugged into my macbook pro which works great with the pen.

The camera upgrades are welcome for features like document scanning, FaceTime, or as a nearby convenience if my phone is charging somewhere else. But yeah, no one decides to take an iPad with them with the intention of taking pictures (Well actually maybe someone saved money on a cheaper phone and put more of their money into an iPad, so the iPad may actually be their best camera. Idk just speculating)

@@randotuberBattery is fine believe it or not... I can still use procreate and it plays youtube vids and all the usual tablet consumer stuff just fine... The closest to pro software i ever had on it was illustrator ( a bit slow) and affinity designer performs ok, but not as good as the desktop experience. i think a new one would be overkill for me unless it became a 2 in 1 with a full OS and a few more inches of desktop real estate.

Me watching on my ipad 9th gen 64gb & I like this beast because it is more than good enough for my daily task since I am using it as my lyrics & for social media (netflix, apple tv, disney+, fb, etc..).. I also enjoy it for very light gaming like 8 ball pool, soccer, puzzle games etc...

They had better fix the camera in the iPad. It’s ok for video but has problems for photos. It produces a grotesque, over sharpened photo that is unusable. How much extra would it cost to create a camera as good as their best phone camera?
