Apple purchased the Oled panels FOR THESE iPads from SAMSUNG. That's been confirmed from S. Korea news.😊
I believe theyll use a mix of samsung OLEDs and LG OLEDs

Any thoughts on if the physical dimensions will change, other than the thickness? I'm wondering if the new 13" iPad Pro is going to fit into my various carry bags (my M1 12.9"" barely fits in many of my camera bags).? Just another expense if I have to buy more carry bags to fit the new 13" iPad I guess.

Okay they are giving people the M4 Chip. But starting prices of 1,500 to 1,800 without any extra's is ridiculous. I realize that AI is the new and upcoming thing. But for me, I really don't care about the AI thing. I'm sure there are die hard Apple Users that will jump into all this. But, I won't be one of them!!

I really want the iPad mini to be announced with M2 or M3 or the same chip that’s in my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a better screen and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and I know they probably won’t do this, but I would love to see the camera moved to the same placement as the new pros and new airs are going to get
My dream is an iPad Mini with 120 Hz OLED and M2, but knowing Apple they wouldn’t do that for at least a decade. Still, a mini with an A17 Pro chip would be kinda cool, especially since its performance is relatively close to an M1 chip. The larger frame and battery would also give the chip more room to flex in more intensive applications compared to the 15 pros

I’m excited that I should be able to finally watch an event as it happens. :) 10:00am PST is usually during my busiest time of day - but I can swing a 7:00am PST easily to watch during the slowest part of my shift!

As long as they’re not putting a notch and everything is good. on the phones, we have no choice other than to put the notch or the unit put on the iPads and MacBook, there are no excuses

Plot twist: They will call it M4, but it will have the M3 architecture.

I’m really really hoping the pro’s will work with the Magic Keyboard. I got the 2022 on release and HATE the screen. The keyboard is still serviceable.

I am always skeptical of Apple doing their thing...they sold me a Homepdo wiith Bluetooth which apparently works ONLY wiith Apple devices because its not the bluetooth commonly used by other devices like Samsung. I could not connect my new Samsung S23 to Homepod via Bluetooth and my research told me Apple sold me an expensive paperweight under the name of Bluetooth-supported speaker
There is another benefit of matte display, the apple pencil won't leave scratches on screen so people won't need to buy 3rd party screen protectors

Forget the hardware if the Operating System is stuck with iPadOS. No point in having a top-end chip without desktop-OS features.

Yeah. They would do it long time ago. They made first oled phone in like 2020 while other like in 2015. My qumo moby player was oled in 2005.
whats the point of having ultra good displays when the current ipad display quality is more than enough? how does this make a difference for the day to day ipad usage?
The oled tech makes a difference in battery life as it is usually more power efficient than lcd displays. In terms of colour accouracy I am not sure but it might improve too, but apart from these two you are going to be completely fine with the prevoius one.

There is no point in buying such a powerful hardware platform if Apple doesn’t also fix iPadOS

What I would most like to see in a new Apple Pencil is for it to go battery-less and, more importantly, have an eraser tip on the back end-which could be done more easily now that it's not using that back end for charging. Gestures and touch/tap/squeeze sensitivity are neat features, but I don't find them particularly useful. I think we've all used No. 2 pencils in grade school, and so the action of flipping the pencil around to erase a mark is completely intuitive; more intuitive than going to the tool bar to select the "eraser" tool in your painting or drawing app. Wacom has had this capability for perhaps 20 years. It's not new tech.
Also, removing the battery, Bluetooth, and other internal electronics on the Pencil would increase battery life on the iPad, as it wouldn't need to charge the Pencil, or use Bluetooth to communicate with it. And since the Pencil can be attached to the iPad magnetically when not in use, the "Find My" feature doesn't really seem all that necessary.
Apple finally doing what Samsung has done for years. Now the Apple fanboys are cheering.
I continue to be amazed at CZcamsrs boasting about how powerful iPad Pros continue to be, yet nothing about the glue they need to connect to some of the most powerful servers around the world. With internet service providers offering speeds far beyond one gig, service levels commonly used by “pros”, I would think there would be more said about if Apple would be introducing WiFi7 along with OLED. I won’t even ask about supporting 4K native resolution because we already know that ain’t happening despite some versions of the Pro costing well over $2,000.
Like you said before in another videos doesn't matter how good they are in the hardware if IPad OS still has the limitations that MacOS does has. its going to be a epensive toy fro playing games and watch youtube video, it's cheaper to buy a macbook air.

If it’s his thin and as light as they claim, I will definitely buy it. I was disappointed when I upgraded from my iPad Air 2 to my iPad Pro. It felt heavy, and very uncomfortable to hold. We were clearly missing the Johnny Ive design ethic. I miss how wonderfully light and comfortable to hold my iPad Air 2 was, and I’d love to have an iPad with an OLED screen that is also substantially thinner and lighter.

Let’s hope this new iPad Pro can do pro WiFi with WiFi6e and actually can do 160MHz bandwidth. That would make it great for files transfers and editing off my servers and NAS’s with 2.5GB Ethernet interfaces. Fingers crossed, just maybe they can do WiFi correctly this time?
