bro couldn‘t even make his bed for the video
Lmaoo was about to comment this😂
I WAS SO EXCITED OK
Missed the messy bed in the video, my bad.
Real tech people don’t make beds!!
This is what I’m here for🤣let the comments go forever
“Throwing that in for free.” 😂
We’re DEFINITELY paying for that. LMAO
will most definitely reach around 4799$ for the cloth accessories.
Can the VisioPro make your bed?
I’m unreasonably excited for the Vision Pro and I’m seriously concerned that Sam is living in a storage unit.
I had to pay for it somehow
😂@@AppleTrack
OK this was an epic comment. 😂
Wow, an AppleTrack video without a sponsored ad break in the middle was surprisingly incredibly refreshing. 😂
They can’t really show you much because the experience can only really be had by using the device. This is a product that has to be marketed in a way that builds enough hype to get he first wave of buyers excited, who in turn will be telling everyone how truly amazing it is once they’ve had a chance to actually use it. And still all they can really say is you’ll have to use it to understand.
Omg make your bed
That’s not his bed, that’s a green screen
How can you say the stuff included in it is free with a price tag of $3500?
And even with all that stuff I can’t see how it’s worth 3500 especially with the different cheaper optiobs
@@DutchJunior310 what other options?
@@aaronqueen55 I mean mainly the quest but there’s a few others I’ve heard of
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 exactly
I love how you made your bed in the background.
Like if it looks like Sam lives in a rental storage unit 😂
I couldn't stop looking at that bed and wondering why you wouldn't of straightened it out a little before hitting the record button? LOL
I want this so bad
So exited for this! Now I just have to save up 3,500$
hey guy is it ok if im going to pre order it with the intention to return it before the 14 day return period???
It seems the Vision Pro is for visual apps ... CZcams, Courses, Entertainment. But, could it be useful in photographic post processing apps like Lightroom and Photoshop where you need large capacity SSD's?
I was waiting for you to make a video on this.
Will this have a small battery build in for user changing battery?
Do we all think this means there won’t be another keynote prior to release?
Will it comes on day 1 with mac os integration as they advertised back in Juin?
It's coming out already I cant wait I need this it will change the world
Would of been an amazing experience if they would have put over the ear beats to submerge you in the sound!
Apple cannot tell you what apps are available as they have only just told developers that they can NOW upload their VisionOS app to the App Store. There will be also a number of iOS app that can be shown on Vision App Store but not all as developers have to option in for that.
Nice video. Sorry for paying attention to background, but is that a bong behind you lol?
Do you know if I'll be able to make an appointment to try on Vision Pro at an Apple store or do you just have to show up?
Yes you need to make an appointment on Feb 2
Well, way to call me poor in 3,500 different languages 😢
Great video Sam! Just wish I weren’t a broke uni student…
Can’t wait for you to show us the experience!
So weird to not get a launch event. Upon reflection I guess it makes sense though 🤷♂️ ? Low volume product this gen, TechTube is gonna be their evangelists & they really net to have it and spend time using it to be of much value beyond the announcement keynote. Then come WWDC it will get some spotlight presumably.
I can see how I might want to have one but not likely for a couple of iterations. My 1st iPhone was a 3GS & 1st Watch was a S4. Only ever bought 1st Gen iPad & iPad mini. So hopefully we get form factor revisions like the iPad 2 fwd & ideally some reduction in price (Pro & “SE” sku maybe) by the 3rd or 4th gen 🤷♂️.
Wow I want an Apple Vision Pro
Can lenses be added after the fact? Like after the order I may be needing glasses next year…
So the vision pro is only made of storage that you would compare it to the Macbook air? I suppose it has the same amount of screens, cameras, etc...
My guess is they will package it like the Mac Studio
I feel like while they should dehave shown off the apps and features way more, it’s definitely hard for them to show VR & AR on a 2d video and make people who haven’t tried it understand. I can send my friends all the footage of my vr games, mixed reality on the quest, etc but u til they actually TRY it on, you cannot fully comprehend. Especially VR where everything has depth, scale, etc and your in the game but to show that off on flat screen is impossible
Waiting for this to launch in Australia with a price tag over 5000 lmao YEAH RIGHT!!!
that charger comes with a megnatic usbC? i have been using them for a while now and love magnetic cables i dont get how most cables aren't hands off yet. and i am pretty sure apple could get around the EU thing using this loophole
Can’t wait for MKBHD’s review or even hands on 😁
Lots of features mentioned, but really rather lite on specs. Also, that head strap configuration has me racking my brain trying to figure out how it can comfortably balance the weight distribution. I think there are going to be a lot of people who complain about it becoming painful to wear after an hour, a couple of hours, etc. Especially across their face where the bottom of the headset is resting.
If it's mounted tight enough, it can distribute the pressure enough, but that will just lead to their entire face hurting.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
After about 2 hours your face starts feeling numb with anything strapped to it. Hopefully we evolve to the normal looking Tony stark glasses soon and this is a quick stepping stone to get there
I understand complaints about the battery life if one is on a plain flight. I don’t understand the complaints about battery life if you’re using this indoors though. It can be plugged up for ALL DAY USAGE. People don’t mention that when they complain about the battery life
And on airplanes, it can be plugged in as well. People are making a much bigger deal about the charging than what it’ll be. I doubt I’ll constantly walk around with this device on. If I have to go to the bathroom, I can unplug the battery and go to the bathroom without interruption.
Well, using meta quest I feel much more comfortable without cable while playing games, working on some design and so on. I can move freely in my room without thinking about cables, only about my walls and furniture. I can punch, drag, drop, rotate things in VR and its very comfortable. When my battery is over I am connecting device to a cable and it changes my movement-set, which I fill like and additional restriction. It is always pleasant to disconnect from the cable, when battery is charged and start playing again with full movement options. But truly saying 2 hours of instant movement is quite hard for me, so I need to make some breaks anyway to relax :)
@@theentity05 Exactly. Also, the people that complain about the battery life are the same people that say they can’t imagine themselves wearing the headset for more than 30 minutes to an hour anyways lol. It’s like they just want to complain about something
@@socolovalexandr Fair. you know what that means? This device isn’t for most people. It doesn’t meet their battery needs. That’s why people have the quest.
@@paulrevere1479oh my God nice justification Apple fan bot.. it's an external battery and it's only 2 hours... Steve Jobs would never release this.. clownnn 🤡🤡🤡🤡
I travel with 2 batteries and each is 99wh so I am not worried about the battery life. I do worry if they can make my prescription.
What's your opinion on the Meta Quest 3?
Can’t wait to hopefully try one out at the STL Galleria Apple Store.
Heck ya!!
All I need to know is can I play on my ps5 with this. If yes then I’m preordering two!
Nice review. Are these Vision Pro specific for each user? Ie can I customize it for me (with rx glasses) and my wife (no glasses?) cheers
no, you'd both have to buy specific lenses. 99 for regular 149 for prescription.
@@nickrobinson7096 thank you! But we just need one headset, right ? So in theory one headset can be used by more than 1 family member, correct? And is there an age restriction? Eg not before 12 years etc ?
@@ruimask Yeah I think 1 headset would be fine for anyone to experience and just swap out the lenses. Obviously if you wanted to interact simultaneously you'd need a headset each which is pricey for just one. Hm interesting point about age restriction! Never thought of that but all the demos are adults and actually I don't think it would fit on a Childs head!
It’s worth it for the polishing cloth alone
I forgive the messy bed cause this was very informative and exciting
Ummm what happened to the other strap that was thicker that was originally shown off with it?
Sam…Sam…your bed….like….what were YOU DOING?! HUH?! lol.
Your father called, he says he needs you to make your bed.
how much RAM?
they're not throwing in crap, all these things together added up at cost is like $10 to apple BIG Fin deal $3500 crazy 256G storage.
Im waiting for Gen 2!
Cant wait to get one and do some remote ps5 and xbox gaming on a big screen, try watching movies on the virtual 100ft screen, and use it as a great monitor for my macbook.
you wont be able to do that. easily...
@@amandaburleson2035 I expect it will be no more difficult than doing it from ipad or iphone, since the Vision Pro will run ipad and iphone apps.
I cannot wait to get three of these! Me and my kids gonna have a blast!
You’re a wealthy man huh?
damn 3?? rich azzz 😅
The fact that you think your kids even need one of these each. They’re gonna grow up to be spoiled brats
Ur first “Confirmed” video that actually has confirmations this time. 😮
I just wanna know will it have voiceover
But you don’t have a mother who told you that when you invite someone to your house to tidy up and clean, luckily the stench can’t be heard, but I imagine it!
Nothing is included for free
I ll wait for gen2 / learned my lesson with Quest pro ...
Seems crazy it cant be plugged in while using if if you have a long enough cable..
can you plug it into a pc to play games
I wonder if the Vision Pro has find my or activation lock
For $3,499 I expect a charging block. Ridiculousness on 💯
Hey there, great choice putting your face in that square-ish thingy so you’re visible at all times. I would just like to have a transition between the position switching and no hard cut
i honestly don't understand the complaints about battery life, this is a first generation product, this is apple's first time doing VR and i think we should go easy on them, it will have problems and it will need a lot of fine tuning to get it right in the future
the sole reason why people complain about certain features is the price.
sure, it’s a 1st gen product, but the price doesn’t reflect this in any way. if we should go easy on Apple because it’s a 1st gen product, they should go easy on us price-wise, but they don’t, the thing costs an exorbitant amount of cash, so people rightfully expect features and accessories in accord with this price tag.
e.g. regarding the battery complaints, Apple could just simply include an addtl hot-swappable battery in the box and everyone would be happy. they sure as shit won’t do that, what they’ll do is sell addtl batteries separately. the value proposition of the base product is the issue, the price vs the features and doodads you’re getting aren’t in line with one another.
people’s expectations are simply in line with how much this thing costs. wanna sell your doodad for an arm and a leg? okay, but then pack it to the brim with features and goodies and don’t cheap out on things like a goddamn $10 charging brick. if this product cost $1500 or something, there would be no complaints about the lack of features, but at such a truly exorbitant price, people rightfully expect all kinds of things.
Sorry but why should people go easy on a product that costs $3500?? It’s on them to make acceptable battery life if they’re creating a new product category, not the consumer to forgive them. I’ll never understand brand apologists, especially for a company that’s worth over a trillion
I hope CZcams is an actual app on the Vision Pro because I don’t want to watch CZcams on safari
all i want to know is if gaming will be cross platforms or only for apple vision pro users. I dont care if I can watch the grand canyon 360 video in 100k resolution, or shoot 3d videos for future memories immersions. GAMING, what stand alone games can it play without linking to a pc ?
Small clarification: 150 3D titles on SPECIFICALLY Apple TV. There are more on D+ and max, probably
Avatar isn’t in Apple TV, for example, but you can still see it in 3D. (It was part of the demo)
Definitely will never have the opportunity to own one of those
TBH I want to buy one, but I can't afford one.
As somebody with a prescription of -11.0, I don’t think this will be something I will be able to use.
That product looks very creepy! $3500 for that is bananas! I would rather pay for an iPad Pro at that price.
Is the February date just for the US or worldwide?
US only
back in Tokyo again?
Can it make your bed in augmented reality?
You know, for 3499 USD, 256 gigabytes seems like a scam, especially when you can get a 1TB NVME m.2 ssd for less than 80 USD
Not to me it’s based on iOS iOS apps are smaller then Mac OS apps I don’t think I I’ll be downloading a ton of content to this it will all be streaming from my phone or ioclof or some other source … and for the price we have other horrible examples like Thé Microsoft Hololrns to which only has 64 gigs of storage for the same $3500 price
@@DesignTechiedoesn’t change the fact that’s it’s extremely overpriced.
@@DesignTechie But imagine how much storage those probably-4K-per-eye memory videos are gonna take up
First viewer here! I’m looking forward to the Apple Technology coming out!
Great video. Make your bed... 🤣
How’s Japan?
Sam seems so "normal" on CZcams in comparison to the Genius Bar Podcast haha
im guessing the box wont be much bigger than the volume of a mac box
I am not an Apple user or fan, but I am so happy for this event too! I hope Apple will make the entire industry to move on with VR technology! I love how VR feels and what new opportunities it gives! For the moment it is so empty with only few good games, apps and content! VR operating systems are so childish and too simple (which is ok for the start, but it should move on)... Hopefully with this new product situation will be changed again and VR platforms will become stronger and more popular as it should be I think!
If I buy one do I have to go to an Apple Genius Bar for setup.. This is going to be an issue if so.
No, but you can if you’d like.
Also, don’t forget that we saw photos(proof) that Apple has actually been recording a lot of their AppleTV+ shows in Spatial Video! So, theoretically we should be able to watch most of the content on that platform in 3D!
I'll keep my Q3
Is this the janitor's dorm for apple park? 👀 🤔
"Spatial video" is hardly a killer feature when the Quest can also play them back.
Way too much money for a product that only lasts a couple hours of battery use.
I need it
I’ve been thinking about getting one. I’m due for a laptop upgrade, and I want this to be it. But I haven’t seen anything that indicates this would a good laptop replacement: file system, apps need to run natively, not as a floating monitor for a separate computer.
My understanding is that Vision Pro is exactly what you’re saying it isn’t ? It’s a computer on your face running native apps, file system (presumably iOS style if that can be called a file system). But w/ 256Gb obviously they are counting on users relying on the cloud.
It can extend you Mac display to be sure but if you don’t have a Mac handy you should be able to do most anything you can do in iOS @ a min.
The only thing that can replace a laptop is another laptop or a desktop pc. I can't see ANYONE replacing a physical computer with any headset even if it would work in terms of usability for the user. There will be many instances where you would need an external screen or just not being able to wear a headset in general. This is obviously a cool addition to using a laptop, but I can't see this or any headset fully replacing a computer any time soon.
Not yet! My guess is that it’ll take a couple generations of this device before it can actually replace your laptop. I’ll be happy to be proved wrong, but it’s going to take awhile before they work out the kinks and get the work flow optimized. Like trying to work on your iPad after those launched.
Seems like a solid product but not sure if it’ll actually be an actual replacement. Especially a “laptop replacement”. Walking around in public and whipping this out would be pretentious as hell (if not on a plane) since we’re still early. If you don’t plan on leaving then it’ll be fine. Probably just a good gadget or computer extension right now ❤
im going to buy it becasue i have social anxiety and its a good barrier to hide my face in public. yes i miss wearing masks for covid!
The strap is in the wrong position and won't take wight of your cheek bones or the bridge of your nose. There's a reason why it's an industry standard to do it that way. That's with the battery pack being a power bank with no option to put it on the back of the band seems stupid to me. The front to back strap with a power bank pocket would balance the pro on your head better.
Oh alright 🎉
256GB of storage for $3,500... the 14' and 16' MBP are cheaper by a huge margin and come with twice the storage.
How can someone compare the state of the arts device to a MacBook Pro based on price. That’s just insane.
My girlfriend looked over my shoulder and said, "Tell that guy to make his bed."......😂😂😂😂😂😂
I hope the 1% will grace us humble mortals with reviews on the product. Since no mere mortal can afford that price level...
You have all this money for these Apple products but not bed sheets? Priorities my guy!
bro make your bed! :(
You know what? The package inclusion of another head belt suggested that Apple has NOT find a good way to make their headset much more comfortable in wearing than other VR headsets.
This means the success of Apple Vision Pro will face the same big challenge (likely the biggest) as other VR headsets: you won’t feel comfortable wearing it for long. Without comfortability, people simply cannot form new habits such as watching movies in headset, or working through big lenses. Even VR gamers like me sometimes would rather NOT put my headsets on, simply because it’s never comfortable and my brain refused to forget that.
Great video 😊
I’ve watched a bunch of vids which were put out quickly to capitalise on the new info. Yours has been the best so far 💪🏻👍
Can’t wait to see it in action. I’m in Australia, so more waiting for us.
For this normal going to wait until more than likely 2027 to see if I will be able to use the Apple Vision Pro to replace my Apple M1 MacBook Air as my daily driver for content consumption.
Way too expensive for me so I'll be going for the Quest when I can afford it (likely the Quest 4 by then), but as an Apple fan, I hope this sells OK
That’s fair.
I hate the fact that it’s so expensive, however, realistically, I think it’s actually underpriced. I’m in the market to completely replace my set up. I spending this $4500, I save another $6200… and it’s 100% portable. My business is mobile, so spending almost $11,000 on a set up at my house almost seems stupid. I’m guessing that’s why I never did it. Because I could only enjoy it when I’m home. I’m on the road. About 1/5 of the year. So it makes sense for me. I currently own the quest, pro and the quest 3. Meta-markets these products as toys or console replacements, so you kind of have to shoehorn work into those. For example, using immersed or metas janky office solutions. And sharing sucks on the platform. With all that being said, I still love my quest three and I use it daily. And now with Asgard’s wrath, it’s 100% worth the cost to buy the headset. But the moment I get the headset, I will leave the meta-headset home, as well as the iPad, as well as the portable monitors, as well as my laptop.
Do I care how people will look at me? Absolutely not. Because I currently wear my quest three on airplanes, and then Parks. And a lot of people don’t realize I could actually see them. And some of the people actually ask me what’s going on and when I show them they immediately want to buy a quest. And I think this is going to be the theme in the future…. Just like the iPhone, and just like the AirPods.
