@@tonyburzio4107 "new gpu" but it really only increased around 25% faster in raw gpu performance (from the m2), only thing eye catching was the av1 decoding and raytracing, even then the raytracing performance isnt anything mind blowing though it's first gen, also 8gb ram in a £1599 macbook pro is insane, the general performance increase from m1 to m2 is more than the performance increase from m2 to m3 which is funny as its 3 NaNoMeTeR. I predict that the m4 series will live up to the hype having the chip very greatly iterated as apple optimises the rushed 3 nm chip design

I thought the AV1 media engine to stream Netflix etc more efficiently is quite impressive as well for battery life .. very nice touch on top of the gaming-related improvements that apple is steadily moving towards ..
The shot on iphone at the end was the only thing that impressed me

M3 in itself is pretty special. I just wished they had a pricing for 24gig ram or something in between 18gig and 36gig. The pricing becomes from $2399 to a whopping $2899. Somewhere in that sweet spot would’ve been perfect, so instead I’m getting the 18gig, 1tb, M3 Pro series. Excited for this though! Makes a person who has an M1 get this new M3 and sell that M1 to make it up on the cost. Sooooo excited to edit my 6K footage on DaVinci!!!!🎉 and that Space Black though!!! 😮sick! Getting that too!

I'm someone that likes to have open tabs of everything I'm doing so I do forget things... now, I can keep a very empty looking tab bar when basic browsing but switch to any of the closed tab slots for whatever are of research I have going... which also means I can have even more things open but every out of mind a clutter ... I can even start the same type of tabs but going in a different direction... finally got my perfect browser!
M3 looks like another nice improvement, but it’s gonna take a lot more to make me give up my 16 inch M1 Max

ikr, that thing is such a beast. It’s literally Apple’s equivalent of the 1080 Ti, sure it might be a bit old, but it’s still one hell of a chip, and in the 16 inch pro it’s just a league of its own.
@@nattttzipin the cycle of what these machines can do it’s not old. I forget his name but the person who plays frisbee and reviews tech still has an m1 max and he could have whatever he wants. Unless you have some crazy application for it those m1 max will be great. I picked up an m1 max with 64gb of memory for 2299 new. That is crazy fair and again in what i do (graphic design and video) the only way you would upgrade would be for the color LOL. Although one thing I would be interested in as I start doing more after effects is if the new chip would handle it better but again seems like a luxury more than a need.
@@roguewavecreative 2299 new is an amazing deal lol, got mine around launch, M1 max 32gb ram. does anything I want it to do, ML stuff, video editing, animation, SD generation, esrgen upscale etc you name it. I haven’t had many good experiences with mac, my first mbp didn’t even get past the setup screen and I had to replace it twice, but this, this is the best experience i’ve ever had with a *laptop*, period. Simply amazing, no doubt it’ll last for the next couple years with no issues.
I use my macbook pro pretty heavily compared to most people (especially with logic) but someone explain to me why you would need 128Gb of unified memory/ram. Cause I know ram is good for things like AE but does AE and final cut need that much to process ProRess?

I think I will still go for the Silver color after decide to upgrade to the 16 inch MacBook Pro from my 10 years old plus mid 2012 15 inch MacBook Pro because of the friendlier and more contrast Stormtrooper look!

When I added this event to my calendar apple set it from 5-7 pm. I expected 2 hours. I was very surprised when it ended after those 30 minutes.

Just to mention, the base M3 Macbook Pro also Loses a Thunderbolt IO on the right side so it's just an HDMI and a SD card slot now.

i got the base 24 inch mac when it came out with the plan to get the imac pro (which i thought would come out in 2022). i am still waiting for my IMAC PRO IN BLACK. i will not give in to anything else. if they want my money, they’re going to have to release it.

and by "latest" bluetooth and wifi connectivity for imac, you mean, if I may, "latest for Apple standards" since the new qualcomm chip (and others) have wifi 7 and BT 5.4. the spec might not be completely done on those but apple is never quick on the latest wireless standards implementation.
I love the Space Black and it makes me want to move from the M1 Pro 16” but I’m gonna hold off. My laptop looks and feels brand new still and has 0 performance issues. It’s just not worth the money. I’d rather just wait for the M3 Max Mac Studio.

They don’t need to update the accessories because the charging speed stays the same anyways and they all plug into the computer end with usb c anyways so your gaining nothing by swapping the end that goes into the keyboard or mouse to usb c

I been waiting for this and hopefully they can target a 3k or 4k price tag. I have the pro display xdr and the 2019 16in intel macbook pro. Love the display but it isnt worth 6k

Those are not stains. They're worn ABS plastic keycaps. The ABS keycaps are the same on the new models.

Guess I will wait for M4. Not impressed the speed is not crazy fast for gpu. The macbook gpu should at least match a 3070 rtx. If it cant at least do that while retaining battery life PC is the way to go.

Im debating whether to buy the M2 Air with 16 GB Ram and 512 or the new M3 Pro with 8 GB Ram, what do you guys think ?

If you're just browsing and using web technologies, air is more than enough. If you're doing any photo or video editing or open a lot of apps, m3 pro MacBook pro is the way to go.

m2 with 16gb ram anyday. You wont notice the cpu difference but ram difference will become apparent as the softwares get bigger over the next 5 years.

Apple at last . . . "Back in black" in the MacBook Pro. If you are a professional this is a great starting point if you need to get a laptop.

I still can’t understand for the life of me why these laptops have such an enormous notch. There are no IR cameras, no dot projectors, no true depth cameras, no proximity sensors, no flood illuminators, no ambient light sensors and no built in speakers. So why is this notch bigger than the notch on an iPhone X from 6 years ago?
A small hole punch for the 1080p camera is all that’s necessary. Instead we have a broken menu bar arrangement where some apps with lots of menu items are interrupted by this big black notch making the system look disorganised while also being functionally cumbersome.
Bet in the spring the iPad Air and Mini get the M2 and iPad Pros get the M3… 11th gen maybe A15 or A16?
Prices are just bonkers tho

I’m getting absolutely nothing new. While the new M3 “Family” seems to be a good jump over my Mac Studio M1 Max it’s doing everything I need for now. Maybe in a few years I’ll be ready to upgrade.
That is exciting! I had thought about switching to Mac, but a couple of people that I know said to stick with Windows. However, I will pick up a new iPad Pro when the time comes.
Don't listen to the people who said stay with Windows. They are behind the times I'm afraid. There's a reason the low-cost MacBook Air M1 is the most popular computer in the world, followed by the modern and powerful MacBook Air M2. You just can't beat Mac nowadays especially as Windows keeps declining in terms of quality and usability.
As someone who switched to Mac recently (got an M2 Pro about 2 months ago), I'm happy with the change. You certainly give some things up (gaming being the biggest thing, but also some other applications, and window management is also worse), but you also gain a lot. Even little things like just how fast the computer is ready to go after opening the screen are pretty amazing, and you can't argue with the battery life. The trackpad is amazing and the keyboard is also good. The computer never getting hot or making noise is also very nice. It feels like a really well made computer, and, after installing rectangle, I'm pretty pretty satisfied with macOS as well.
If you don't have a good reason to stay with Windows, it's definitely worth considering switching. For the same money I paid for my Macbook, I could have gotten a really nice graphics card and an OLED screen in Windows, which would have been very nice as well, but as someone who doesn't game much and has a Windows Desktop, all the quality of life improvements definitely made the Mac the right choice for me at this time.
@@Epicgamer_Mac it is true that macbooks performance wise is way better than windows now but Windows also has their fair share of benefits. For example, Apple mainly supports their macbooks for 5 years only with latest MacOS. After that you wont even get all of the security updates. Windows on the other hand will easily be supported for 10 years, for example windows 10 support will end on 2025.

I am ordering a fully specked out iMac. With the M3 chip, 24Gb of RAM, and 2Tb of storage it checks all the boxes for less than $3,000 US.

Imagine living in the Netherlands… The base M3 Macbook Pro (with 8GB????) is 2029 euros. I LOVE macbooks but that price is insane in the times we are living right now. But my M1 Macbook Air still works fine so no reason for me to upgrade.
I don’t have MacBook never had and I been wanting one. But so expensive man even if I have the money.
