Talk about an intense battle! I forgot how hard hitting Bretonnian knights are. These knights definitely are the champions worthy of the Lady's favor.

I remember playing with my Skaven against Bretonnia once. I managed to break a couple of his cavalry units with magic and shooting. Then they went through me like a knife through hot butter. BTW great battle.
Ouch! That large hill conveniently placed for the stunties. LOL!
Fun to watch and Very bretonian. They tend to win or lose turn 2 after their army charges. If you survive that hit, you can normally win the grinder. If you don't, it's over...

I realize I am just an echo, but I concur about the fantastic Bretonnian army. I play Bretonnia in Warmaster so definitely appreciate a beautifully prepared army. I have not the skill to do so, so I have to send my minis out to be painted.

Yeah Bretonnia! What a dreamy army, and quite the ruthless list too. It did seem over by Turn 2 but I reckon a match against an all cavalry army would always come to a quicker conclusion than two footslogging hordes. Well done both and I hope you will keep attracting great opponents in the future!
Superb game with a seasoned general, no wonder the lady smiled upon him. I bet the dwarves try to get that owed coin, with interest, in another few generations.

Glad to see vids of this era. I stopped playing most games workshop in 2007 when i moved away from my friends. I did have it good being so close to the US HQ of GW.

Another enjoyable batrep mate -thank you! But a tough match up for the ol’ Stunties - taking several lance charges in the face is a test of anyone’s resolve. It was great that you passed your own personal Break test and kept slogging it out and was able to dish out some pain back to those Lady loving equestrians. An all cavalry Brett army can tend to be a point and click guided missile that can tear right through your battle line, or get ground down if it doesn’t.
Silver lining is that your next win will be that much sweeter after the recent defeats 😁 and I’m all ready looking forward to seeing what army you face off against next time! 👍👍

Nice battle report, thanks for bring it to the channel! Awesome army, like always. Bad luck on the dwarf side in the dwarf phase (the shooting phase hahahaha) and a nice new army on the channel, wonderful paint job on this miniatures. One thing about the charges at the previous turn due to a chase. Like always, the charges go first attacking but if this unit receive a charge its the iniciative that resolve who unit attacks in first place because both units charged. Keep going with this battles report, are amazing!

What a stunning Bretonnian army, very nice! Your dwarfs are nice too. ;) Now you just need to find someone with Tomb Kings, I'd love to see them on my favourite battle report channel. Well, these 6th ed fantasy battle reports on this channel are the only ones I watch anywhere since I lost interest in 40k (at least modern 40k).
I still have some Tomb Kings models from back in the day, although I never had a proper army. Hopefully the Old World will be great when it comes out so I can dust them off and finally finish the army after over 20 years. :)

So pleased to see the Bretonnian player take the knee in prayer, well remember doing the same at my local store back in the day (whilst ignoring the mocking laughter!)
I may have missed something but I believe the noble knights accompanying the Battle standard bearer, who failed their leadership, broke and lost their blessing... did not appear to have taken their re-roll due to the inspiring presence of the Battle standard bearer, which may well have prevented their dishonourable rout!
Have to grumble about you both referring to the thoroughbred Bretonnian Warhorses as 'ponies'....the Lady and nobility of the Realm are most displeased!😉

In 6th Edition the BSB only allows rerolls of failed break tests from combat.

Regarding the last combat with the Quarrelers, Knights and the General, you can add +1 for flank to your combat resolution bonuses only if you have an unit strength of 5. Great batrep, and that Bretonnian army is superb ! Stunning BSB.

Probably a bit late to say and probably wouldn't have made much difference. But I would have been trying to kill that Paladins Pegasus, as it has the same toughness as the rider and has no armour save.

At this stage no. 3D printing looks like a whole new hobby to tack onto the ones I already have. But totally agree that the stuff being produced atm looks amazing!
@@rogueelementgaming I can get where you're coming from. If you find yourself with the time to take up the hobby I think you'll not regret it. From the outside in it looks more time consuming than it really is. I spend about 5 minutes with a plug-in-and-play printer and it'll just do it's thing. By the end of the day, I have a 20-man squad ready :D
It's more of a supplement to other hobbies, I use an FDM printer for gardening tools and flower pots, as well as scenery.
Not trying to sell to you xD But it could enhance your hobby a lot and give you whole new armies to play around with :)

The plan is definitely to stick to the hand cam batreps. They are what I prefer to watch, thus what I will produce. Might do a hobby hangout/painting stream at some point though.

When charging to a flank when they are already in combat, they test as soon as the charge is measured to be in range. If the unit panics away, the charging unit has to now charge where they fled, and if the charge still reaches, the fleeing unit is destroyed.
a very nice battle, a bit unlucky with the turn 1 and 2 shooting from the dwarf's warmachine but it is what it is. Very beautiful army from the bretonnians, super cool
It's cool. Before the last three games I was on something like a nine game win streak! Was setting myself up as the villain of my own channel! Hopefully I can start winning back some public opinion. 😜

Bretonnians would do that to you in 6th Edition! Lovely game, sir. One trick you can use against them is screening your infantry with your thunderers in a single line. You get to Stand and Shoot, they kill you, overrun and hit the unit behind it. Then is your turn and you can charge the engaged cavalry units in the flanks with your other infantry. If they decide not to overrun, you just charge them in the next turn and lances are not a problem.

Watched it now, have to comment again. Great game, exciting. Some roguh stuff. That Bretnnian stone thrower was brutal. But it is against 20mm bases and elite infantry.. :)
Bretonnians are tricky, usually win big or lose big. But they are different and look great.

Yay I get a shout-out!!! 🤘That was an unfortunate game to watch for the dwarves, but Bretonnian steel won out especially with the blessing from ze Lady. Stos did you by any chance purchase those dice from a hooded ratty-looking fellow, that referred to you as man-thing? Otherwise it was genuine pleasure to see Bretonnia on the field and what a beaut of army, plus David's shirt constantly made it appear like he had the biggest white beard, almost comparable to Grombrindals.

His rolls are on fire. I loke prgan gun but the range sicks. Thtas why i starzed using Flame cannons. They have more range.
Also maxbe 1 gyrocoptee would be nice to get behind enemies sobthey cannot march. That gives u more shooting phases

When getting charged its always better to take the better save. If u survive u are in the afvantage with dwarfs because u jave better toughbess ir strengh so in the long run thats better for u. And on the secobd combat rund he looses al his bonuses

Shouldn’t the bsb have given that unit a reroll on their leadership test when the knights broke? Could have still failed but that would have been big for them
I think Slayers mid with the general to hold a flank and your warriors to potentially do a flanking attack would work better against an all cav list.

I completely watch all the interesting Video´s, Clip by Clip and do a Like (they are all super to watch and may offer the Chance of Playing self in the Future - I give this Channel to my Friend, hoping that he is interested like I was) . The Comment for the Algorithmus

I also usually had great weapons on my Dorf Warriors.. But it was probably better to not even pay for it and save, winning by denying kills.. Lame though.. ;) I ran 2x20 longbeards though, for the WS 5 and S4.. No Ironbreakers.. It was not as good but i liked it still. Loved those 6th Ed models.

Good game, but for some reason it breaks my heart to see humans and dwarves fight. I always viewed the two as bro's. I don't know all the lore, but I feel like generally they're on the same side.

Was there a reason why you didn't attack the Pegasus (instead of the Paladin riding it) in combat? Would've been easier wounds imho. Nonetheless lovely report, but a bit one sided with the bretonnian steam roller XD

Loving to see this vids, but the dwarf army feels very samy after a couple of vids. Have you thought of switching it up? Some gyrocopters? Other units or heroes? Just a suggestion, otherwise keep up the good content

at around 33:00, the BSB's unit fails its panic check, but it was re-rollable since the BSB was there.
BSB only allows rerolls for breaking from combat in 6th Ed my man.
