If I see this System in any other Channel I had skipped looking. But not if Stoss and Matty B. make the Show. Flipping to Hit, not mine. Magic as so powerful is little to much, shooting dominates Melee is not needet.. But the Miniatures are wonderfull, the Terrain is very good looking. And your Story telling is allways entertainment. Thanks a lot

This dudes slaanesh army is unbelievable in it's beauty. He really took the lore and made it kinda like they describe but im his own awesome way. I am impressed.

He chose a great color for their scaly skin, they're so vibrant. So much eye candy on your channel. I loved seeing the flame cannon from your dwarfs but it seems like the organ gun is king. Except that one game against Damon where you one shot his giant with the cannon 🤣. That is just like a game of 40k between me and my oldest brother... The first turn of the first game with my new Land Raider Redeemer my bro rolls a bunch of sixes and blows it up and kills everyone around it..

This is the coolest and most beautiful high elf army I have ever seen. Love the attention to detail. I do not normally like high elves but must admit when they're awesome!

When you give it flavor that makes it even better I loved the backstory however brief. Beastman and dwarves is a pretty interesting match up I would give the natural edge to dwarves due to tankiness but we shall see.

That was a fun game! Really love scenarios in skirmish games. Really makes it more of a story than a dog pile. Thanks Matty B for taking part, you and Christos gave me a decent evening’s entertainment!

WIth the chariot, I think the hounds could have charged the flank of the Iron guys in the earlier charge, leaving room for the chariot on its charge?

I play Beastmen, and I really enjoy them. But I have to say that Gaze of the Gods is kinda silly. Back in the older editions there was a very real chance that you could turn into a Chaos Spawn if you evoked the gaze of the gods, especially repeatedly. It feels a bit soft now :P

I think, I would suggest in the future if there is a misreading of the rules like it was on this one, that you just play it out like that. I was very surprised at how static the elves were this game, not my expectation. Glad to see a new video, hope things are well enough to do these more regularly again

Amazing board. One of the things I love with skirmish game is the opportunity to build a board with loads of terrain. Seems like a good game with quality minis and accessories. I can really recommend to try Five leagues from the Borderlands. A Co-op Skirmish game with roleplay elements. Easily my favourite skirmish game at the moment. Also, 6k subscribes congrats Stoss🎉

Confused Borek Thunderbrow - "this is...a...grudging?" In all seriousness, what an interesting and fun looking game! The ruleset might need to be modified to allow for a-most- disappointing-of-cannons to be included in future games, but other than that I really love new the mechanics. Table (and table setup) look fantastic!

Hello, Nice early game, the elf could do better i think, regarding more movements and too static, also charging units with no hope of winning.. (eagle, light cavalry on rangers). But normal the game is still quite new 😎 Btw, flank charge doesn’t need strength 5 😉 for combat bonus Keep it up, love your style as in 6th 👍

Awesome armies and game! :D Love the match up. As some had mentioned the bow doesn't reroll ones, but a big change to edition was the Ballistic Skill chart, which allows you to reroll misses if you have a certain score and modifiers don't apply to the reroll. A prince at BS 7 can reroll any misses and on a 5+ they will hit. It has taken me a bit to get used that change. Elves also have Elven Reflexes and get +1 initiative on the first round of combat, so a great weapon unit wouldn't strike before them on the first round generally (though a flank charge bump in initiative would have them striking at the same time). That all being said, the amount of work and love you put into these reports shows and is appreciated! (Also the amount of rules for all the armies you play between 6th/ToW is a lot haha). I'm enjoying ToW a lot though it did take some getting used to. Cheers :)

Pretty sure you don't get to reroll 1s in shooting with "Bow of Avelorn". Its just "Ithilmar weapons" in close combat. Rella enjoy the batrep though and those retro High elves are smoking (I´m trying to acquire a similar army but im at half of this force). I lack the silver helms, spearmen, shadow warriors, swordmasters and a bolt thrower. Really love the silver helms though if i had them I´d be content for sure.

I like how you can tell which guy plays Dwarfs and which guy plays High Elves just by looking at them.

Don’t have my book to hand for a page reference, but I’m pretty sure that you only need to match the casting value of a remains in play spell when dispelling it in future turns, rather than exceeding the casting value; the exceeding when dispelling part comes in with exceeding the casting roll when dispelling when a spell is initially cast.
