Day three....and things are going just as planned...
But once an arrow is released...all bets are off, and we have no control over what our target does as we release an arrow!!
The bow used for this hunt is once again my Timberghost Traditional Archery, 56", 54@28" G3SS recurve... phenomenal bow!

The arrows I used for this hunt where .340 Beman carbon shafts, 8" cap wrapped, three 4" feathers....and tipped with the massive 300 grain Big Jim 3 blade broadhead.

I can feel your pain. There isn't a worse feeling in turkey hunting than losing a hit bird.. Bowhunting for turkey is extremely difficult.. This is why when I bow hunt turkey, I only use decapitating style broadheads like the Magnus Bullhead.. It flies very well out of my recurve and shooting at the head will only result in a clean kill or a miss.. best way to go..
