- Two weeks after the disappointing miss, this hunt would end differently!
Same spot, different gobbler, slow start.....and then it just happened!
The bow used for this hunt is once again my Timberghost Traditional Archery, 56", 54@28" G3SS recurve. Can't say enough good about this phenomenal bow!

The arrows I used for this hunt where .340 Beman carbon shafts, 8" cap wrap, three 4" feathers....and tipped with a massive 300 grain, Big Jim 3 blade broadhead.

Love your videos, being from N.Y. myself, just a little note. I see your tagging the turkey back at the truck. I believe in N.Y you must fill-out and attach the tag immediately after harvesting. I know It's written a little different for deer, where your allowed to transport the deer back to camp or your vehicle, before you have to tag it. I just wouldn't want you to run into a hard nosed D.E.C officer, waiting for you, by your truck at 12:00, when you come walking outta the woods with a Turkey that doesn't have a tag on it. I know stuff happens, after 50 years of hunting N.Y. a few years ago, I got a ticket for not wearing my back-tag on the outside of my backpack !
