- On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a pre-set budget in mind. In this week's episode, we build a $100 budget Anowon, the Ruin Thief deck from the Magic the Gathering set Zendikar Rising. Kumena is a legendary rogue lord that pumps up our rogues and gives us a powerful card draw and mill ability. We built this deck as rogue tribal deck, deploying evasive rogues early, and then attacking our opponents, milling them, and drawing card in the process. In addition, this deck features tons of card draw and interaction.

not sure if tetsuko is worth a slot, its ability is useless once anowon hits the field since it pumps all your stuff and also most rogues have some form of evasion already

30 cents for Thieving Skydiver? I don't think so. I have been keeping my eye on it. Hasn't gone below $2. I wish it was 30 cents.

I add blighted agent just for unlockable infect + black blade is fun.
I play my anowon with a bunch of shapeshifters, like body double, and dimir doppelganger. They can become the best creature in your opponents grave if needed, or a rogue out of your own!
Pillar Of Origin can be another good 2 CMC rock for the deck and I’m pretty sure it’s budget. I know you can only use it to cast the chosen type but Anowon and most of the creatures in the deck are rogues.

I would suggest Mind crank as another card to add to this deck.

I think your stats card count is a little off. Can’t have 102 cards in the deck. 10+16+33+9+34=102

In the later half of the vid, the prices of the cards remained the same. You might you fix that :D

I think you missed the fact that due to Anowan giving every rogue +1+1 Tetsuko Umezawa is effective useless since they will never have neither 1 power or 1 toughness.
