- On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a pre-set budget in mind. In this week's episode, we build a $100 budget Araumi, of the Dead Tide deck from the Magic the Gathering set Commander Legends. Araumi is a legendary Merfolk Wizard that has a powerful activated ability granting encore to our creatures in the graveyard. In this deck, we have rely on filling our graveyard with powerful creatures that we will later reanimate with Araumi, getting 3 token copies of those creatures. The creatures we included in the deck have powerful Enter the Battlefield abilities that work well when we get 3 copies onto the battlefield. We also have ways of keeping those creatures around after the turn is over in the deck too!

I've been looking for such a long time for Dimir commander and, thanks to this you guys, I found it in Araumi. This deck is amazing and love how you guys made it cheap enough to not only buy but have fun to play with as well. Great job. Can't wait to see your neck deck tech.

Araumi, of the Dead Tide is a great deck and has exactly the colors I love so much to play. I love how you build the deck. It looks like a mass of fun for me, less for the opponents ;o)

When I saw Araumi I immediately thought of my Meren and grixis Marchesa decks. This deck seems not as resilient as Meren, but more impactful and has a lot of the merciless executioner type effects. Also has a lot of the graveyard value from Marchesa without the stealing. Looking forward to build this as well as East Kodama & Toggo :3

The deck looks sweet! I think a hidden gem for Araumi are the Zuberas, namely Floating-Dream Zubera and maybe Ashen-Skin Zubera.
I believe they all die simultaneously if you encore them on your second main phase and therefore all count each others "deaths".
