  • On today's video, we will share with you the first of a 2 or 3 part series documenting everything we worked on and repaired on this TR6. This video focuses on everything underneath, suspension, steering, exhaust, transmission, oil, fuel, and underbody panels, etc.
Definitely a cool car and you'll want to check it out!

Nice walk through. I have a trans drain plug like that and it's leaking badly. I just bought original plugs to try to seal up the trans better.

Have a close look at the brackets on the rear tube shock conversion. The chassis was never engineered to handle the force at the new mounting point and I've seen more than a few frame rebuilds as a result.

Michelin X redline tires; impressive. However, I would check the date code on them as I don’t think they have been made for many years.

    Great video.
Only thing is that i find the U-clamps difficult to absolute seal tight.
On my Spitfire i had to change to a one bolt circular or band type witch i consider a better option.

That's good to know - I have seen those clamps and wondered how much better they are. Probably don't even need the extra insurance of the muffler sealing paste with them. Thanks!
