  • The plaintiff brings her daughters and son-in-law to court. She claims they owe her money because she and her husband took care of her kids and paid for all their clothes and other expenses. They haven’t paid her back even though the defendants go on lavish vacations. She’s suing for childcare and emotional distress. The defendant argues she only recently reconnected with her mom because she grew up in foster care. She claims her sent her mother money for help. The defendants are countersuing for emotional distress.

Even after everything she had been through she said after she got custody again, temporarily, her mother said “we’ll be a family” and there wouldn’t be any more custody battles.
Having the daughter isolate herself from her own husband is another strategic move for emotional manipulation. She got played and because she’s in such an emotional state her mother is running circles around her.

I was a Children's Social Worker for child protective services for over 23yrs. Unfortunately, it's common for former foster youth to lean on the vary parent who abused and or neglected them for support because they do not have other connections/relationships with others who can help. That mother waited until after the hearing to all of a sudden call her daughter a "Crack head." If she believed that to be true, she would have stated that to Judge Milian." Sure sign that her intentions for keeping those children is not for the sake of their safety. Definitely other reasons.

This case ang😡ers me. I know someone's mother who did this exact thing to the... Mother tricked daughter into signing over "guardianship." Mother went on to steal the child from the daughter by leading daughter to believe guardianship and custody were synonymous. Mother's motivation was public assistance funds.
The mother in this case is corrupted because of her disease of addiction that is not fully being addressed. She still operates like a feign... She is highly manipulative and may be incapable of seeing relationships from anything other than a *transaction* , i.e. "what can i get out out of this" attitude...
The daughter needs to free herself of any notion of the possibility of having a healthy mother/ daughter relationships with her mom and seek therapy once they get pass this custody thing and completely cut her mother OFF. The mother is likely an opertunist and will use any opening as an opportunity to run her self-centered agenda.

@@LivingforJesusaGodisGood74 I’m not making excuses. Seems like reality. This situation was not at all a normal situation. Hell, I wouldn’t have a problem leaving my son with my mom for months. I’d miss him of course, but it would be fine. She clearly thought she could still have some type of normal relationship with her mom. And her mom appears far more street savvy than her so it wasn’t hard to fool her. All she had to do was exactly what she did: pull on her daughter’s heart strings and mix that with some “I wanna do better for them than I did for you” and POOF!! She could pull the wool right over her eyes. Smh it’s not making excuses. Everything isn’t black and white. Maybe she thought she was doing the right thing by her kids by allowing them to spend time with her knowing what she went through not having her mom in her life.
Now, would I have done it? Yea, but the second she said she couldn’t bring them back, I would’ve went to get my kids. It should’ve never gone this far.
