The actress playing Martha is actually so beautiful imo.. Her facial features are so soft so for her to perceive herself as scary and cruel had to have taken some real effort. Wonderful acting. Could he have pretended it wasn't a true story and changed her character more, sure, but he shouldn't have to because it is his story. He owes her nothing.

The show is as great as it's uncomfortable to look at. I thought the stalker would be the sole odious character. But the protagonist is also an insufferable man. Incredibly unstable, fragile and difficult. Just tough to watch.
