- In this easy cooking video, I cook a beef tri tip roast with some vegetables to make a beef soup or stew. The ingredients to this Instant Pot recipe are 1 cut up beef tri tip roast, 2 cups of water, 24 ounces of fingerling potatoes, 4 carrots, 3 stalks of celery, a tablespoon of onion powder, a sprinkle of Worcestershire Sauce, and salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper to taste. I browned the meat using the high saute' setting. Then I added all of the ingredients to the Instant Pot and cooked them on the pressure cook setting for 15 minutes and let the pressure release naturally, on it's own. The total time in the pot was 1 hour and 25 minutes.

I love this recipe. I am glad I found your channel!
One of the best things a woman can have is a man who cooks.😄🍲🍜

Super sexy too when a man can cook! 😊

It Came Out Great Thank Yoy.
Watching your videos is my alternative to meditation. Thank you. And Annie too!
That's awesome! Thank you!
Looks amazing I'm going to try this! Only thing I might do differently is dredge the meat in flour first to create a bit of a gravy while it cooks
Thank you very much for sharing a good recipe,
I will look at your recipe and cook it 😍👍👍👍
Looks fantastic! I love the beefy flavor of tri-tip. I make a lot of soups and broth because I have digestive disorder. I drink broth like coffee and the broth on that soup looks delicious!! So simple but so good! Another thanks to you!!!
Thanks! I'm glad it looks good to you!
Great find on that tri-tip Jim. The stew looks like it has a great flavor. Nice cool evening one pot dinner.
Thanks Mike!
Definitely gonna try this on a cold snowing night here in Southern California 12-15-21
That was a great soup! Just piece of French bread would have gone great with it! Glad it was Annie approved! Best wishes for another great cook!🧧🤙
Thank you!
Oh man Jim that looks so tender and delicious I know would love that.
Thanks Rick!
Wow, That does look delicious. Thanks for sharing your video. I hope you have a blessed week.
Thank you!
That looks great!!!!! Thanks
Thank you!
...Looks good as usual Jim...You always make the seemingly difficult look as easy as pie...(so to speak)...LOL...Great cooking again...
Thank you!
Wow that tri-tip just fell apart tender. Nice work Jim
Thanks CJ! It turned out pretty good!
Love your attitude about food and pets! Trying the tri-tip stew in the Instant Pot for the first time.....Instant Pot too! Couldn't they have just called it "Instapot". - Dave
Thank you!
This video made me think about changing my crockpot for a pressurized one like yours. All it took was 1 hour 20 minutes instead of 5 or 6 hours. Another great video buddy
Thanks! These are nice when you're in a hurry!
Tos Great video your actually the first one that has demonstrated how well Insta pot can sear, must be the bbq know how, get your equipment hot before adding product. The tri tip made that 5 Star production. Final product looked great, I just tried using mine, it looks like an Insta pot, but it is another brand, it worked fine twice then an error comes on I have to return but I was really was impressed with product when finished, the last thing I made was taco mixture, 5 chicken breasts and 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning, what out taco bell. Looking forward to more Insta pot productions
Thank you!
I have never heard of tri-tip beef but this seems interesting. TFS
Thank you!
Looks great. I've been meaning to upgrade from my usual crockpot cooking & looks like pressurized instant-pots are the way to go
Thanks! These are definitely nice when you're in a hurry!
I hope you got an instant Pot since your last comment. The meat from cooking in one is outrageously good...It traps all the flavors like on regular cooking on the stove or crock can do !!!
Good and simple. Did you add oil for searing? Great recipes.
Thanks! Yes, I used avocado oil to sear the meat.
GOOD AND TASTY MEAL THE MEAT SO TENDER THANK YOU
Thank you!
Now that looks delious!...But, did ya have to post this on the unofficial beef stew day of the week?
LOL Thanks!
I’m going to try this cooked slow and easy in a crockpot. Thanks!
Sounds good! It might turn out even better slow cooked in the crock pot.
Put a crust on left overs cook once eat twice 👍😍
Looks good
Thank you!
You’re more than welcome.
Finally someone that actually browns the meat and doesn't turn it Grey instead lol
If Annie wags her tail any faster, she's going to knock those back feet right out from under her! LOL
Your meal looks delicious, Jim, and you got a fantastic deal on the beef. TFS! (:
LOL She does get a little excited!
@@TosTinManEasyCooking Those are happy tail wags! (:
I don’t have bell pepper powder what else can I use ?
Some garlic powder or onion powder should be fine, or just salt and pepper.
I need to get a instant pot. I have a crockpot, but I think their different?
You could make this in the crock pot it would just take longer.
Yeah I've made it before and it took 8 hrs on low
Which is it? 15 minutes on high pressure or 1hr and 25 min?
It pressure cooked for 15 minutes but it was in the pot for an hour and 25 before the pressure released and I open it.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking Thanks my friend. Looks delish.
the tin man that can
Thanks!
I'm going to try this recipe but I don't think it takes an hour and 5 minutes for the pressure to release on its own after only 15 minutes Of pressure cooking. I made an amazing beef stew using a chuck roast at 90 mins of pressure cooking and it only took about 20 minutes to release the pressure. I guess we'll see what happens using your recipe
15 mins 😳
All you need is bread and butter 😇
you're lucky you didn't invite Gordon Ramsey over!
