In today's video we're testing out the properties of several different types of waterproofing solutions. With that, we'll see if we can waterproof ourselves and see if we can make some really cool sidewalk designs that appear when it rains.

The purpose of applying water repelling spray to concrete, is to prevent the growth of mold. It keeps the concrete looking clean without the use of bleach or a pressure washer.
So...we should never wet our concrete because it literally not coming off?

Yo! I got this idea! Try spraying these on some chunks of sodium metal then throwing it in water
Sall
And sodium will just start reacting to it as soon as it touches the metal
@@yashsharma-bx5ux yeah, because the waterproof thing is also water
Sodium reacts with oxygen and various other things as well and since spays usually contain oxidisers and water, not the safest or smartest idea
“WE made our skin hydrophobic!” Spends entire episode spraying concrete
Because skin is already Waterproof
@@smolbabycreeper3179 Actually most of our body is water. it is not water proof, the surface has some polar and apolar materials. Apolar materials make your skin stay there, polar materials make the water stuck on you. We are not waterproof, we are just resisting water by having a layer of apolar organic molecules, aka cells on our body. We cannot control the surface however. The surface can be polar and apolar at places depending on what chemicals you touched or not.

No. Drones need air to move.
Can you try making liquid helium and compare it to liquid nitrogen and how stuff reacts to it please
helium shortage so it wont be easy to get helium
Liquid helium will be very hard to make I think because u need to get near absolute zero(-273.15°C) -270°

What if you spray the whole inside of a clear bowl with never wet and rhen fill it with water, will you see floatimg water?
Michel Maring I’ve been thinking about this and I think there would be a tiny gap between the water and bowl, but I don’t think it would be noticeable
Dude it just makes the water slide away it would not float at all
@@otis222lv3 how can it slide away if it's in a bowl?

Can you dehydrate different fruits and vegetables and turn them into cotton candy
I like this idea.
I doubt this will work, even if you got the fruit in powdered for, it most-likely won't caramelize like sugar and just spray on the sides

Cotton candy is about melting the sugar and turning it into strands, fruit would have too much extra stuff.

Can you make t shirts that show designs when sweating?
Can you put never wet on a phone and see what happens
Kayli Cabeza water damage only occurs to phones when it gets inside the headphone jack, speakers, mic etc. it doesn't hurt if you get water on the screen it only damages it if it gets inside of the phone, and you can't apply it to the inside so it wouldn't be able to water proof a phone with never wet.
@@samwhitehouse8925 Some phones are coated with hydrophobic coatings. It keeps the water from seeping into the crevices when splashed. The water beads up too much to get in the cracks quickly. It doesn't necessarily help with prolonged immersion, but it does help with brief exposure.
