Dan fogelberg is one of the great singer song writers there is up there with James Taylor and other 70s song writers
It sure sounds like it. I've never heard of anything by him except for this. Can you suggest some other songs for ME to check out? -BStar
@@ddubsnbstar835 You guys should seriously read up on this guy. He is a multiplatinum artist who sold tens of millions of records. (Kind of hard to believe you don't know about him.) Anyway, here's a "Fogelberg Sampler" for you. Pick your favorite genre and have a listen. You won't believe it's the same guy.

You're reading too much into this. He wrote it in Hawaii while lying in a hammock and said was just floating around out there and he gave it a home. It wasn't his favorite song and I think was even a little embarrassed by it. "It's the song that put me on the elevators." He appreciated that it was such a hit but dismissed it saying "it's not my best work." Beautiful song.
If you're not familiar with Fogelberg you seriously need to check him out. HUGE artist and fantastically talented multi-instrumentalist. He played every genre --rock, blues, jazz, country, bossa nova-- and played them all well.
Thanks for that Denton! We had no idea, and honestly don't research the tunes for fear of adding bias. However, there is something to be said about having some knowledge on the subject. We appreciate you watching and taking the time to share this detail. - Ddubs
