One of my favorite artists. Dan Fogelberg was such a great folk rock singer songwriter & storyteller. He also played multiple instruments such as guitar, bass, piano & mandolin. I had his double album "The Innocent Age" from 1981. "Leader Of The Band" is my favorite song by him, a loving tribute to his dad. He wrote so many great songs such as "Hard To Say", "Missing You", "Make Love Stay", "Run For The Roses", "The Language Of Love", "Believe In Me", "Same Auld Lang Syne" etc. We lost him much too soon in 2007.

This was my wedding song in 1980 and brings tears to my eyes now. I lost her 9 years ago but she is no longer in pain.
My heart felt condolence. Losing a life partner is so painful. Love NEVER dies for you.

Dan Fogelburg was an amazing artist. His music was all beautiful and meaningful. His voice was like velvet. He wrote a beautiful song about his father, who was also a musician. It’s called “The Leader of the Band”. He has many great songs. In a lot of his studio recordings Dan was playing every instrument in addition to his vocals. He left us far too soon due to cancer. RIP Dan Fogelberg. Great choice Jay 🌺✌️

Dan Fogelberg was a great songwriter and wrote many classics like Longer, Leader of the Band about his Father and Another Old Lang Syne.

Dan Fogelberg was a very talented musician, he was he taken from us far too young. Although appreciated in his home of the US he wasn’t in the UK where I live! RIP Dan Fogelberg😢

I really like Dan Fogelberg, but I always think about when Earnest Borgnine say the line in the movie Baseketball, "You kids and your Dan Fogelberg" and it make me laugh every time.
