    Great video! Unity should pay you for this! Do you know a good way to do this? - Imagine an outdoor environment with a house and bake it. The house have no windows so there is no sunlight hitting it inside the house. Then I have an UI button that can disable the roof of the house and the sun hits inside the house. But everything is black inside because the light didnt hit the inside in the bake. It´s like to have a big dollhouse where you can take away the roof a wall a table an so on. It´s a big house with alot of things in it, that you can chose to disable or enable things. The problem is I want to bake it and not use realtime rendering because of performing, but it seams impossible to bake an interactive outdoor and indoor scene at the same time. Hope you understand my question.

    • @UGuruz
      @UGuruz  Před 5 lety

      I think you can do it. Its not that hard. You can use artificial lights inside the house and HDRI or sunlight for exterior light baking. You also use light linking to bind you lights for exterior and interior objects.

    Okay, I am running into an issue with implementing the HDRP in 2019.2.11. I found a scene that I purchased to use in your tutorial. I went to load HDRP package as you describe along with Post Processing and Shadergraph. I went to create rendering in asset window to implement the HDRP Pipeline but the HDRP option is not there. I got the following error messages as well.
    "Removing Packages/com.unity.visualeffectgraph/Editor/Models/Contexts/Implementations/HDRP because the asset does not exist"
    and this error message:
    "Couldn't delete Packages/com.unity.visualeffectgraph/Editor/Models/Contexts/Implementations/HDRP because it's in an immutable folder."
    Any thoughts on how I can get the HDRP to work? Actually, I just created a new project WITH the HDRP template and it is still the same issue? I have to be missing something.

      @arcitek66 Před 4 lety

      Actually, I think I found the problem and it is on me....I think. I was right clicking in the Heiarchy Tab window and trying to create the rendering there. I went to my Folder in Assets under the Project Tab and right clicked and tried the Create>Rendering there and sure enough, there was the HDRP Pipeline. I am admittedly still grasping the Interface of Unity and it was me not understanding the that in the Heiarchy Tab window, you are bringing in Assets to the scene where in the Project Tab Window you are Creating specific assets or effects. Am I correct on this?

    I can't seem to win here...haha. I just went through setting up the scene with the HDRP pipeline and converted materials to High Def and they still remain pink. Is it possible that materials will not update?

    • @arcitek66
      @arcitek66 Před 4 lety

      I am seeing that this could be an issue at hand.
      The mentioned objects are using the shaders "Legacy Shaders/Reflective/Diffuse" and "Legacy Shaders/Reflective/Specular" that are not supported by the material upgrade of HDRP. HDRP only supports upgrading of the "Standard", "Standard (Specular Setup)" and "Autodesk Interactive" shaders.
      Any ideas on how to fix? I just want to follow along on this tutorial and it has taken hours just to get out of the gate....Again, supplying a ready to go fbx file that you know will work would help alot.

    • @arcitek66
      @arcitek66 Před 4 lety

      Well, according to this video from Unity, not all materials can convert to the HDRP render pipeline.
      czcams.com/video/GyPSXDZi0NQ/video.html
      It would seem I would need to rebuild all of these materials in Shadergraph which is not happening. 10.00 dollars down the drain.

    • @UGuruz
      @UGuruz  Před 4 lety

      Any custom shader will not be converted in HDRP. Yes you will need to create them in Shader graph. But for legacy materials you can make a new Lit material and assign all the texture in proper input slot.
