- We are back to Philippines travel vlogs and back to Cebu bringing you our first video of an epic Visayas adventure series! Cebu was our first city outside of the Metro Manila area so naturally we have to give you our first impressions of Cebu and all of our thoughts on the differences between Manila and Cebu, the vibe of Cebu, and some other observations we've made so far! While giving you our first impressions we tour you are the Ayala Center Cebu Mall and eat some delicious breakfast! You’ll have to go to Busay, the mountain part of the city. There are plenty of restaurants with overlooking view the city. My friends and i would usually go there when we crave for something to eat.

Cebu is always better than Manila imo. The nature here especially the beaches in the north or south is just unbeatable. If you’re a city guy, Cebu City or IT Park has a lot to offer and not as crowded. Enjoy your stay here!

Although parts of the city is dirty but Cebu offers the best of both worlds. The beaches and mountains are within distance. Busay restos and gardens will give you a nice view of the whole city. Canyoneering and the sardines run is a must in Cebu and of course lechon and hanging rice.
It's normal na may dirty parts sa mga city dito sa pinas kahit sa Manila like QC, Pasig etc...😂 kahit nga sa makati may slum area din dyan e, sa may tabi rin ng bgc meron
Hehe kahit nga sa ibang bansa sa Philadelphia at Thailand,vitnam may mga slums ang OA talaga nang Pinoy

Great to hear the island hopping adventures, Visayas region is the place for different fun and adventures, everything is a stone throw away, Bohol, Leyte, Samar on East, Negros, Panay on the west after a good experience in Cebu island, speaking of island, Negros a sock shape is a complete package hidden to be discovered yours to try, good road network, facilities are at par, foods are unique,thats why it’s expat home island away from home

So you've finally made your way to the islands. Well, Cebu is highly-urbanized, but it also has the tropical island vibes...and diverse. From a modern CBD to white sand beaches, marine sanctuaries, dive spots, temples, theme parks, adventure parks, mountains/highlands, river canyons, waterfalls - Cebu's falls are next level, among others. Bantayan, Malapascua, Sumilon, Pescador and Camotes are islands within Cebu province - also an island. There are 167 actually, but those 5 islands are must-see places. The airport that you planed into is on an island, Mactan. Safe and fun travels in Cebu, guys.
also rubbish, beggars and slums are everywhere. really poor and backward cities. thats why just few foreigners visited. as compare to HO CHI MINH, BANGKOK or KUALA LUMPUR which are alot more organized, clean, no beggars, no rubbish and above all no slums.

Explore also bohol just 2hrs by Ferry/fastcraft from Cebu... you can go to Panglao for beachfront accomodacion go to Alona along the beach you can select for hotels.

My first impression, theres no proper bin for wastes. Garbage is everywhere.
A lot of informal settlers literally like 10 steps away walking from their CBD.
And bad roads though its all over the philippines. Cebu is the most visited place in the country I hope their Mayor aware of that.
Go to baguio for panagbenga there is a direct flight from cebu already...
Try the fooda in cebu.. so good.. the lechon in carcar..

You will find that there are many homegrown chains of brands (esp restaurants) because Cebu has always been an economic powerhouse, with some of the biggest companies in the country tracing its origins from here. Their owners/founders are mostly Cebuanos.
Trinoma, Greenbelt & that mall you're in are all AYALA Malls. thats why they all have that similar layout!
