- Welcome to another Christmas special vlog here in the Philippines! Today we heard about a special event in the McKinley Hill area of BGC called the Christmas Grand Parade!
We started this video near the SM Aura Mall to check out the Christmas decor they had to offer before we started walking to the McKinley area of BGC! After running into many friendly kids we made it to the parade, which consisted of several crazy Philippines-inspired floats and much much more! We enjoyed a good chunk of the busy 3-hour-long parade and we are also excited to announce the giveaway winners at the end of the video!

Hey, Biscuit Boys! Here's a FANTASTIC idea for your Christmas series in the Philippines! Why don't you try the Filipino Tradition of Christmas Carolling? Where you go in front of nearby houses and sing Christmas Carols, then after singing, Filipino families living in those houses will give you money.
Imagine Trick or Treat but with money instead of candies, and in Christmas month instead of Halloween.
You can then add the money that you will collect to the Giveaways!
Just sing "Jingle Bells" in front of a house, and people will automatically know what you are doing, or you can ask some local kids to teach you other songs.

You can also attend the Makati’s Annual Festival of Lights show in Ayala triangle garden. It started from 6pm to 10pm(15 minutes per show). The show runs November 14 to January 14.

As a long time resident in the Philippines BGC is just Disneyland when compared to the rest of the country.
Trifate, trust me, its not just both of you who were disappointed with this year’s Sinulog. I, too, a born and raised Cebuana was disappointed. Too much has changed this year’s Sinulog and 2024 might be a little disappointing too.☹️

try to go to Baguio and experience the Pinagbenga parade of flowers in January or February
If you can, try the UP lantern parade on dec 20! Be there by mid afternoon to get a good spot, the parade usually starts around 4 to 5pm. There’s also UST’s paskuhan!

there's a toy convention starting tomorrow, dec 15 to dec 17 at the megatrade hall in megamall. there will be a lot of activities like cosplay, live bands, celebrity signing, etc.
In the country, there are the high-end areas like BGC, Ayala CC, Dasmarinas Village, Urdaneta Village, San Lorenzo Village, Magallanes Village, Forbes Park North and South, Ayala Alabang Village, middle-end areas like private subdivisions constructed by the Ayalas, Villars, etc. and low-end areas where informal settlers reside like what you saw beside BGC.
