These guys really toured many parts of Manila. Seems they enjoyed so much the city life in the Philippines. BGC looks like Sydney. Hope they can also visit Makati Business District that looks like Little New Yorkm
BGC is one of the major business districts in Manila so thats why the city looks fancy with high end stores, hotels and establishments. Lots of good places to eat and its a bit safer than most places in Manila thats why you noticed there's a lot more foreigners there. Try visiting Makati too just near BGC and do a food crawl in Poblacion and Salcedo.
It's interesting to observe that the more "fancy" it is, the more Western it is. I don't recognize much Filipino stores, it's filled with American and European brands and stores. If you go to France you'll mostly find French cafes, bistros, stores, etc. There are very few American and non-French stores, apart from Paris which is a big cosmopolitan city. Maybe in the coming decades Filipinos will develop their own commercial imprint.
FINALLY!!! BGC is one of the most modern place in the Philippines, BGC night is way way better to explore especially on weekend night, but the financial capital of the Philippines is Makati City (MAKATI CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, Ayala Center (it's so many high rise buildings), Ayala Triangle Garden, Greenbelt Malls, Glorietta Mall, Powerplant Mall in Rockwell Center, and Weekend Markets (Salcedo and Legaspi Markets) that's all in Makati City
Yes, That's BGC, the modern & world class city of Philippines, aside from BGC there have a lots of modern & world class cities in Metro Manila Philippines such as Makati City, Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, Pasay City, Quezon City etc..Metro Manila is one of the Mega Cities in the World. So huge, so many modern cities to travel, very lively & dynamic, you can't bored, amazing city!
BGC is NOT a city of the Philippines even if it named as such. Its only a small 2.5km2 business lifestyle district, and is one barangay out of 28 barangays in the City of Taguig. And there are so many poverty slums and squalor surrounding all the 16 cities of Metro Manila, what world class cities.
I'm living in the Philippines but I've never been or I didn't know that there are places like that here. But a big thanks to u guys because I felt like I am already traveling to different places and for free 😄🥰
Thank you guys for showcasing BGC. I feel sad that you did not get your pancakes. The restaurants there are pricey by Filipino standard. Hopefully you will get the chance to visit Intramuros or the old Manila. If you visit there you might want to try it in the evening because it looks beautiful in the evening. Enjoy guys!, ❤

Go to filling station in makati. Place where SB19 took their MV #WYAT. Just ask the waiter location of the red car. Because it is kinda close sometimes but if you want to take pictures they will allow so. Just went their and the food are great 👍

I really wish you'd stay long to experience Christmas in the Philippines especially in special places like Ayala Triangle in Makati City, Eastwood City, the famous Policarpio Street in Madaluyong City, and the likes.

Have you gone to the night markets? You can experience different types of Filipino dishes and street food in the night markets. Sometimes they also have live band performances. Or even visit a daytime farmer's market. Though I don't know which night markets are back now. I hope other folks here will share where these night markets are. And I will suggest this again: go to Binondo-Chinatown. That's the India-type traveling you guys should do.

felt bad for nonos too but it also makes sense since most filipino like to eat heavy meals even for breakfast. maybe waffles isn't selling well on their menu but nonetheless it should still be available
I guess, since we are still not through with the pandemic and fewer people go to malls/resto.. to shop, eat, dine, etc..businessmen usually think of cutting costs rather than producing so much of an item(like for example the waffles) when it's not so much in demand for customers or not saleable at the moment bec.most of our people now are unemployed, people tend to buy cheaper/affordable items or food at smaller food stores or kiosks...Sorry "biscuit boys" for the inconvenience brought to you, unluckily, bec. of the worst effects of the pandemic on our businesses not only here but globally..Just enjoy guys touring our beautiful country. Tagaytay City please only more than an hour or 2 away from Manila since u love nature, u will see the smallest active volcano in d world, a volcano within a lake within a volcano within a lake. 💜💕, Drop by Twin Lakes and Nasugbu White sand beaches. Just take a bus to Tagaytay City.

Manila, in general, is not a tourist destination. It's for business mainly. Go to the islands, like Boracay or El Nido, or maybe Baguio.

felt bad for nonos too but it also makes sense since most filipino like to eat heavy meals even for breakfast. maybe waffles isn't selling well on their menu but nonetheless it should still be available
Waffles is not a favorite of Filipinos. Its usually ignored thats the reason..
I guess, since we are still not through with the pandemic and fewer people go to malls/resto.. to shop, eat, dine, etc..businessmen usually think of cutting costs rather than producing so much of an item(like for example the waffles) when it's not so much in demand for customers or not saleable at the moment bec.most of our people now are unemployed, people tend to buy cheaper/affordable items or food at smaller food stores or kiosks...Sorry "biscuit boys" for the inconvenience brought to you, unluckily, bec. of the worst effects of the pandemic on our businesses not only here but globally..Just enjoy guys touring our beautiful country. There's much more to explore here. Try go to our cool, breezy Tagaytay and Baguio..And next to our famous and beautiful beaches in Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Boracay, Siargao and many more of our more than 7K islands. Tagaytay City please only more than an hour or 2 away from Manila since u love nature, u will see the smallest active volcano in d world, a volcano within a lake within a volcano within a lake. 💜💕, Drop by Twin Lakes and Nasugbu White sand beaches. Just take a bus to Tagaytay City.

If your interested to visit another chain malls before going to MOA, you can visit the ayala makati area, right down the MRT3 Ayala station is the SM Mall to Rustan's to Glorietta Mall to Land Mark Mall to Greenbelt..
You should visit Baguio City!! You'll definitely love it! :)
