- After our epic Bohol adventures, we came back to Cebu for an awesome road trip that unfortunately got delayed by bad weather and late deliveries. So instead of a road trip, we are spending the day exploring Cebu's fanciest neighbor, IT Park, and doing one of the most Filipino things we can think of.. going to a UNLI restaurant! We spend the day eating wings, finding mysterious Chinese New Year parades, getting our first impressions of IT Park in Cebu, and finally capping the day off with some delicious Leylam, one of the Cebu exclusive restaurants that we can't try in Manila! It was a chill but epic day!

CEBU IT PARK Is smaller than BGC and Makati but the only place can par BGC is the Mimoring of Minglanilla Cebu which is under construction its an 100hectare to 200hectare Modern City.

Go to the mountains of Laguna province.
You can visit 4 waterfalls in Luisiana, 3 are walking distance from each other.
Nearby towns such as Majayjay and Liliw have waterfalls as well.
Another town, Lucban in Quezon province is also worth visiting.
All these towns are located at the foot of mount Banahaw.
You will like Northern Luzon lots of nature very peaceful and nice you will have to take a bus lots of nice places to stop and explore .

If you wanna see the OLDEST & LARGEST AMERICAN UNIVERSITY in the Philippines if not in Asia, its name is SILLIMAN UNIVERSITY which
is located in Dumaguete City where it is nearest neighboring island of Cebu that just 45 minutes travel by Fast Craft /Boat. This virgin island has lot to offer for foreign and local tiurist and peaceful place..... then proceed to island of Siquijor, 15 min. by boat from Dumaguete city. Siquijor island has a tag name as Mystic Island of the Philippines.

You may also try pochero de Cebu which is a beef shank/bone marrow soup-based dish as it is a uniquely Cebu dish. Try it from the restaurant that is famous for serving it - Abuhan Restaurant. But pochero de Cebu is also served in other restaurants offering local Cebu dishes.

Go to dumaguete in valencia area and siquijor,. If you are in oslob it is only like 1 hr away 30 minutes going to liloan port then 20 minutes by ferry.
Yep, Leylam is good. In Metro Manila, you can find them among the food stores beside the Groceries.
I suggest you also try Sunburst Fried Chicken which is unique among fried chicken chains because they offer unbreaded fried chicken. Their fried spring rolls are also a must-try if you want very Asian food. But they have lots of Filipino dishes on their menu that you should try.
you can visit my hometown, Bantayan Island, it is the northern part of Cebu. Which you need to rode a Ferry, if you want to relax on a Beach. You can explore it, but much better check the weather, during Holy week it has the most tourists, so if you want to checked it out, much better with no special occasion. We have lots of beaches here with good and fine white sand. I can give you a list if you want.
If you want to try very local and Cebu's homegrown fast-food places, try Orange Brutus (famous for their burger steak) and MyJoy (formerly McJoy after McDonald's won the case for using Mc). Orange Brutus is the first and oldest fastfood chain in Cebu, founded in 1980, and can only be found in Cebu. They have close to 30 stores all over Cebu and they're found in most malls in Cebu.

You should go adventure activities while in Cebu such as canyoneering in Badian which is the ultimate adrenaline-pumping activity most foreign visitors do in Cebu. Or you can do waterfalls hopping as Cebu has over 110 waterfalls systems spread across the island but 60% of them are found in the southern towns of Cebu. You would be amazed at the waterfalls in Cebu as they mostly sport that uniquely turquoise blue water. Another unique features of Cebu's waterfalls are their multiple falls/cascades, multiple deep pools, and they're usually set amidst the lush tropical jungle that leave you in awe. Try Aguinid Falls, Inambakan Falls, Dau Falls, Kabutongan Falls, Cambais Falls, Tumalog Falls as these are easily accessible with a short trek from the main road or mountain road.

It maybe gloomy weather this month but at March, or on the mid March, it's the start of the summer here in the Philippines.
If you want to go to the mountains you can do a colab with Becoming Filipino, he goes to the nicest places but bot expensive. Just nature. He's a canadian living here in the PH for years and have gone to a lot of places.
Easter luzon ( composed of nueva vizcaya, isabela cagayan, quirino, and aurora provinces) have good and accesible roads. You will be surprised that roads are well paved. The very scenic cordillera region composed of ifugao, kalinga apayao, abra, benguet where bauio city is and mountain province are quite accesible as well becauce of good roads. The western side which is composed of zambales, pangasinan, la union, ilocos sur ( where the heritage vigan city is) and ilocos norte have lots of seaside sceneries.
Hope u guyz can explore another part of the visayas region and experience big city like iloilo and bacolod city Iloilo city the cleanest city in the Philippines mindanao davao city ..... cagayan de oro city ....general santos city and Zamboanga city

The highest end neighborhood is called Monterrazas De Cebu, a newly built subdivision on the mountains overlooking the city.
Not IT Park lol. And, SRP will overshadow all those business districts soon. That whole coastal area is the future of Cebu.
You called that high end? Its not even a subdivision, its just houses built over a cliff overlooking the ugly city. Do you know how much a simple condo unit costs in BGC?

Also, if you want some pastries and wine head on to La Vie Parisienne in Lahug. Best time to go is sunset. Not to humid.

Hi you guys need to ask where the best Lechon Restaurant , cebu have the best lechon. The skin is crunchy. Have fun.
I recommend you go to the Tops... From IT Park just rent a ""Habal Habal" (those single motorcycles). Best to go at night. Bring a jacket, it's cold up there.. Also better to have a local with you so that the Habal Habal driver wont rip you off.
