Why couldn't you guys be more truthful in your "budget ". I started with a good built 383 sbc, I happened to have a solid 454 laying around. Aluminium heads, new pro built transmissions.....

I'm saying the car was probably a rusty pile that hez sanded down and bondoed and primed and well yeah maybe 3k limit on go fast parts after the original 3k spent to buy it for another build,like myself I'm sure they take the drivlines out and swap in cheap junkyard drivlines,they claim to have used in during there filming, and honestly there probably sponsored and summit or other crate engine dealers supply them at no cost as it's a method of advertisement for them, I mean the engine and driveline suppliers will have claimed them as a right off saying were damaged or were a return just rebuilt and sent to these automotive shows and eventually after filming and then keeping them for themselves after each episode or the vehicle is being resold, swap them out n reuse in other vehicle or other show ghere filming just bck and forth between roadkill and then tony and luckys show,and honestly I'd say that those same engines are cycled through all motor trend auto shows,just built different with different go fast add ons in separate shows
A 383 stroker and transmission would get $5K without a car in some places.

I have a 95 S10 with a blown 2.2 and a wrecked 02 Chevy 1500 with a LS In it. Would love to combine the 2 but just simply don’t have the money.
Sorry Finn….. not everyone has a running 454 just sitting around or a caged car set up for racing …. As much as i enjoy the content 99.9% of your viewers would be well over 10 grand for what Newbern or Tony have at the end of the day…. Unfortunately for us we don’t have Summit or Edelbrock or Hot Rod Magazine or “insert speed parts company here” in our pocket…. So you really need to put out a more realistic challenge…. Am a big fan but this kills it

I totally agree I'll never go 7.80 for 3000 dollars and I have the s10 body but no go fast parts I'm looking at at least 6000 dollars to maybe run 7s

I am currently looking for ignition parts for my project mopar. I saw this "msd digital 7 plus" in one of the cars,i was like - it must be affordable, cars are 3grand.. Price of the part was 1197,95 US$ heh...
It comes down to what do you want to do pay with sweat or pay with money?

I really enjoyed this episode. While I know its Roadkill, I really wish you would have picked up a spray can of flat black, a roll of masking tape, and maybe pulled some old newspaper out of a rash can, so you could have touched up the black trim around the windows. Not talking about doing super neat job about it, just taking one hour or less. Would have drastically improved the look of that car. Maybe the next episode when it is featured?
Also looked like the heater hoses had been removed and Finnegan mentioned wanting heat at the beginning of the episode. Thought the other connections at the water pump and thermostat might just be capped off and potentially be easy to hook that heater back up. Heater core may have been leaking so no go, but would have been worth a try.
One last thing: Moweaqua is pronounced Moe-we'-kwa. Kwa as in quality.

I feel like the only true way to test and have a vs with a 3k budget is to both teams have a base 260hp crate gm 350 then start from there with 3k$

Honestly I'm I'm American in America and I haven't seen a new episode in 2 yrs.i think production has been the reasons, cause they basically convinced Finnegan to attempt his own shows with his own employees as his helpers cause and they did it cause friberger had all rights and editing and licensing I believe and well they thought after separating them that they could use Finnegan and his and friebergers friendship to get what they wanted from frieberger or to lose frieberger and spin off with Finnegan and reap the full benefits but it hasn't worked completely in there favor cause Finnegan isnt doing so well on his own and well frieberger show with dulcich is doing remarkable cause it stuck to its roots of same basics and well the writing and editing done by frieberger is also key.
Love the Nova father sold his 72 to pay for my hospital bill being born grew up with the racetrack with my father uncle and Grandpa and I hate that I'm not in the position in life to repay that gift of that Nova back to my father recently broken my neck racing Pony Express with my 21 year-old and 19 year old competitors we're getting beat and ran me and my horse wide into the railing of the Arena

@@supersevenn My local drag strip went to 1/8 th mile. Insurance was cheaper and much less speed involved. I don't have any 6.13 diffs.
Because the track up in Calhoun is only 1/8.

Now im realizing MTOD is worth it otherwise you only get to see 1/4 of the episode. 1/4 of the episode just seems weird, it just totally skips everything, and if you pay for MTOD you help them get more money to make new projects/episodes, so its really a win-win situation.
PS to anyone who wants to get mad and say "why should we have to pay to watch!" buck up and pay if you're actually a real fan! its almost 2022 you have to pay more and pay for pretty much everything nowdays, so get used to it.
Well actually you can see full episodes of roadkill here on CZcams and as far as that goes there hasn't been any new roadkill episodes since Finnegan was convinced by the producers to attempt his own show and well it's not as good as roadkill,which frieberger not just motor trend had writing and editing and ownersof,they thought they could dupe frieberger, and make all profits and use Finnegan as the way,but frieberger spinoff show with dulcich is ironically doing better and well frieberger is the key and well he has the same rights to it as well as roadkill,once they done with Finnegan, frieberger and him be making new episodes again

Totally with you! I watched the whole thing. But, I commented they should wear powered HEPA filtered masks if breathing is illegal in your area. It really is the dumbest thing ever. When I worked for Army Medical the head of infectious disease at the time, a LTCOL Pearce told us all not to worry about the whole thing. She said the media was blowing it all out of proportion and just wash your hands more, sanitize your surfaces (she never watched Roadkill LOL), and cover your cough or sneeze. Army Medical! You know, the people that stopped malaria. Just goes to show you how corrupt the media is that she was never on TV. I have to go on base sometimes as I still work for for Uncle Sam. But I use my powered HEPA filtered mask so I can breath. I get a lot of questions about it. And a few officers told me they've ordered their own. No reason not to breath fresh air just because some airhead on TV can't do basic math and science.
