I was supposed to go on a road trip there once, but there was some drama where this Canadian dude and his 16 yo gf ended up hitching a ride and having some major fight and pissing the driver off, stranding everybody states away from home on the way to pick me up. Glad it happened before they got to me lol Maybe it was meant to be and NY sucks or I would hate it and God spared me...

Just want a version where I can “walk” around with resent detail. Thinking more practical uses like being able to view an apartment area without having to use my phone app with blocky structures.

Google Earth flight sim actually helped me pass my navigation solo flight. I was able to practice on my own beforehand.
Google maps has snapshots from as early as 2007. Its about as close to time travel as possible, pretty neat.
