Why Is ISIS Targeting Russia?

    On Friday, March 22, terror was unleashed in Moscow when a group of terrorists stormed Crocus City Hall, a major concert hall in the Russian capital, with rifle in hand. It was the biggest terrorist attack to hit Russia in more than 10 years.
    And now, logically, the questions, which everyone is asking, are: what the hell happened? Who is behind this massacre? Was it #ISIS? Was it Ukraine? What consequences could it have for Putin?
    #Russia #Putin

      @texasray5237 Před 26 dny +13

      Whenever you see anybody shouting allahu akbar as they fire a weapon or whatever, you can bet that person is only doing so for the camera. He's no Muslim fanatic, he's not even religious, he's a mercenary doing what he's paid to do. And that includes pretending to be religious for the camera. Because the camera is from the western news media and what they want to see is a Muslim fanatic, not a poor mercenary.
      Can you imagine even a sincere christian shouting "Praise God" every time he fires his rifle? That would get old really quick. By the second day he'd forget all about it. And that goes for Muslims too. The only reason we ever see anyone shout "Allahu Akbar" is because the cameraman tells them to do so, so that the folks back in the US can realize that the guy doing the shooting is not just a paid soldier but a crazed Muslim fanatic.

      No its the most obvious thing to do. Who gains from sowing chaos and unrest inside of Russia? Ukraine/NATO. They've been doing it for ages. No ISIS organization will gain anything from it.

    What about the reaction of the Russian police? Why were they so slow to react - in the capital city? Was there a political interest to suffer as many victims as possible? Was it corruption? Are they just prepared to suppress political protests and completely unable to counter a terrorist attack? How on Earth could such a small group of attackers even leave the site and then drive for hours trough the country? In a small civilian car they didn't even switch during their escape and which they apparently even used to get to the attack... 🤯

    Funnily enough, one of the attackers had to be carried in court with a wheelchair and was unresponsive. The rest were visibly beaten.
    Which begs two questions.
    One, how is it that they are still alive being in Russia?
    And two, I wonder what pampered treatment they would have had, had that happened in the US?

      You're raising a question, not begging the question. “It begs the question” is a response to a logically circular argument. Begging the question refers to a fault in a dialectical argument in which the speaker assumes some premise that has not been demonstrated to be true. It is a response to a statement and you are not responding to anyone, just pondering random thoughts you came up with.
