Max's line through chicane is way different, he cuts everything he can to shorten distance to the finish line. At the end of the exit curb on the right he is +-20 km/h slower than Checo, but it is enough to be faster in this section. Checo is using more conventional racing line "slow in - fast out", which is definitely faster in the race. It will be interesting to compare their time specific for the section from braking into the chicane till the finish line, because I think S3 also includes 130R

The actual telemetry data shows them both at 76kph min-speed through T11.. The onscreen telemetry is not 100% accurate.
They were within 0.01 going into T16-17 - Perez had a slower approach with faster exit, Perez went down 0.26 in those two corners but brought back 0.20 with the faster exit. This was the biggest difference (time wise) in the entire lap.
Perez may have been faster in Degner 1, but Verstappen's slightly slower approach gave him a far better exit at Degner 2 gaining him 0.20 seconds before T13 as well.
F1 tempo has all of the telemetry graphs with some awesome info.

Cant really compare the two telemetries, Checkos is more filtered and lagging, deflating top speeds somewhat and significantly inflating entry/apex speeds. So they probably went very close speed wise on that degna as well as spoon, we can see it by comparing distances or engine rpms that seem to have less filtering... Verstappens typical "entry over exit" bit him in T11 where Checko got most of his advantage.
So yeah, beast mode absolutely! But thumbnails kinda misleading, like they all are, sigh.
