    I like to see a cowboy not to prideful to teach others
    I grew up riding so I already know how to put on my spurs but I got curious to see if anyone had videos out of it and yours is the first to pop up .. Great job on teaching

    This helped so much! I didn’t want to embarrass myself when I first went riding with my sister and brother in law and watching this video definitely helped a ton.

      Do you like fingers that are hardened from years of riding and rubbing cigarettes out against tough Wrangler cowboy jeans and leather chaps.?
      I remember the night when a guy went crazy just watching me cooking on the barbecue and moving the coals around without wearing gloves,

    i forgot what their called so help me out please. My friend has this rubber attachment piece that will go around the bottom of the boots heel to keep the spur tightly secured (with some room to breath) i can’t think of what you would call them

    Could I make straps without a buckle?

    • @weaver_equine
      @weaver_equine  Před 5 lety +2

      Hello Rancher! You possibly could make spur straps without a buckle however, it may need to be made out of elastic so you can get the strap around your foot. We recommend leather spur straps for longevity and ease of use. Thank you for your comment!

      Yes it is. If anything, getting the leather over the button can be difficult but that’s it.

      @@DeanH92 that’s what my problem is! My fingers aren’t strong enough to get the dang button through the leather slit 🤣

    • @marlatinney

      The strap he was using had worn leather he pulled apart with no problem. It’s the new stiff leather that you can’t get over the button. It’s a nightmare!

    Thanks for telling me to pull them apart to get them to fit. The first one had no issue, but the second one broke in half. All that money wasted.

      No, he bought cheap Chinese made spurs and snapped one while trying to widen it. His fault, not yours.
