Part two of my 2nd time up at Rufford Ford, where my quest was to film an affordable rough Ford ford through Rufford ford! Whilst I could've have got any closer to exactly that, I also captured the unusual and extreme scenes that occurred during the latter part of the day.

Came here looking for this
Same lol, for a sec it seemed that the engine ran away but lol i wonder why he was revlimiting it lol, maybe he thought it will clear water out or something😅
Part of me feels bad, but the rest of me is going "GO ON LADS, HAMMER IT THROUGH!!"
Feel bad why? The people who break their cars deserve it because they are ignorant on how a car works and don't deserve to drive.
@@HeavenlyWarrior Fair point, just hate seeing a good car go to waste.
Some people are really really dumb. Get a Chargehanger...
But for the high cars and jeeps I think they’re good
The dog analysing the situation before going through in the van got me 😂
Yes. 🤣
The locals must absolutely hate the attention this place is getting 😂
Oh bet, it's really annoying.
Mate I’d be camping out with a winch good little earner that🤣
@@24k__J people aren’t going to be there 24/7🤣I’m sure these guys get off once it gets a bit dark
I mean, they make a living out of filming it
I live in Nottingham, so kinda local. It's hilarious actually, how a place I used to stand at for hours as a child has now become a popular place for the social media generation.
I think what i like most about these Ford vids is you get to see stupid people actually having to deal with their actions. Society isn't holding their hand through it. They actually have to think for themselves
There are signs- a lot of them.
yes like fuck no im not driving my car trough a friggin river unless I know exactly how deep it is
Rule of thumb is if the water reaches the edge of the bumper and doors is still doable but any more will just flood your car and you get dangerously close to the air intake
@@vladuk Yeah - but how do they get insurance?
I doubt if they would attempt to cross a flooded ford like this if they could think rationally.
@@alouisschafer7212 Exactly! Even if you don't actually screw up your engine, who wants the floor of their car covered in scuzzy, smelly water? That shit would take so long to dry out.
11:46 never been more relieved 😅
The Land cruiser did it the proper way by creating a wave of water in front of him and then dabbing the brakes so he could follow the wave which would make the water shallower.
The reason why the minivan has a side exhaust is because it was modified for wheelchair access. The wheelchair ramp takes up the space where the exhaust pipe would normally go, so they have to reroute it. And recently they dredged the stream to increase the flow, so fortunately for motorists, but unfortunately for spectators, the level of water in the ford is quite a bit lower now.
aucun rapport avec le pot d'échappement 😂😂😂😂
Check out 5ft deep rough erd yesterday 22 oktober 2023 farmer is finally " Tom sunderlanded off:"
Car had a side exit because of the disability wheelchair lift on the back. Interferes with OE exhaust path so you have to find another way to route the pipe and support it.
They gray Kia @9:05 is a van with a wheelchair ramp. The company that installs the ramp has to relocate the exhaust and they often do it quite cheaply. That's why the exhausts sound like that.
AdamC and Rufford's Deathtrap: Gotta love it
I'd love to be the guy to explain to one of them just how catastrophic the damage actually is and that their car is actually now a write off lmao Engines very often tend to be a third to a half of the total value of the vehicle, but let's assume you manage to get a used engine cheap, the cost to install is not going to be cheap, I don't know how evil the mechanics in the UK are, but in my country, that's about a quarter of the value of the vehicle again in labor and small parts. Your entire electrical system is also fried and the entire thing has to be replaced, also not cheap, especially to install, probably about a quarter the value of the car again. At the end of almost buying a whole new car, you now have an engine swapped shitbox with rust INSIDE your unibody frame that will fail most roadworthiness inspections in about a year or two when the rust fully sets in.
Flood cars are always the cheapest cars on the market, and should always be avoided like the plague. To think that not only did a guy flood his car on purpose, this is a literal attraction that is infamous for having killed hundreds of cars in just the last year, and these brainlets still go ahead and kill their own cars too, having just watched the person in front of them destroy their car. Truly amazing content, think about it, where else can you see such an obvious display of stupidity, where the idiot immediately gets what they deserve? Literally amazing.
Very true..... but there are signs warning the people.... and warnings in the car’s manual....
I suppose common sense is overcome by the fact they are faced with a huge crowd..... and see other people pass....
Hydro-Lock can be drained tho
@@No-ri7xs 🤣🤣🤣
@@No-ri7xs Hydro lock can be drained... of course!!!
But if one or more cylindres inhale water (in extremis a few drips will suffice...) as the engine is running the harm is done.... you can drain all you like but the engine is dead....
@@No-ri7xs its not only hydrolock what destroyes the piston rods.
Its also the carpets and the sand what goes everywhere.
Even if it dries you will always have smells. Not to mention the electric Problems
Man im addicted to these videos 😂😭 me and my mum like watching these and commenting on peoples cars and driving style lol. Glad I got here early 😎👍🏾 it's 5am in California
Come over and give it a go in a Chevrolet Corvette 😁 (I'd buy it from you before you worked out how to drive on the left, left alone through water)
What a great life you are living
4:06 doggo doing a van drive
I love the fact the people come to help others get out!
Gonna do an engine delete lol 😂
Commentary is still top notch! "We definitely not tried" 😂
I’ve been watching the other channels doing videos on the ford for a few years now. Adam you’ve added an extra dimension 👍🏻
The ford escort got escorted out of the Ford but the best part of the video has to be at 0:35 with moves like that Adam could go on strictly Come CZcamsrs lol
Always a Focus turning up making loud bangs, thinking people are impressed by it.
I live in Ollerton and have been visting Rufford since a kid with it only being 5 mins up the road, its only in recent years its gathered this much attention.
The Escort Mk VI knew the score, he didn't try starting it again after it cut out, which is the point where people really screw up the engine. He pushed to the kerb, took out the spark plugs, then turned it over so it blow the water out, then soaked up what was left as best the could with a finger in a rag down the spark plug hole. Then he started it, and dried it out with the engine heat. Once he got it home i suspect he drained the oil off and topped it up with new.
12:00 Rough formerly affordable Ford fords Rufford ford; Ford roughly forces forward affordable rough Ford through Rufford ford.
Hydro Lock episode 🤣🤣🤣
Wonder how many fords there are throughout the country? Do any of the others have videos?
we love stuff like this this is what you should be filming
I have been watching videos on other channels about this very ford for few years now. Every time I watch a new video I am asking myself, if these are new guys all the time or the same people who never learn from their mistakes...
A friend knows the Mini (AU52) guy and he is almost sure it is modified. He is a local, he knows perfectly well what this is about, and he is not going to risk more than he has to.
I see your channel some time back and lost it, thankfully found it again keep up the great entertainment folk :)
Glad I made part 2. I never thought I'd like videos like these....
They inducted the wrong MC into the rock hall this year! Shoulda been Adam 😂🎉
It’s never ending content gold 😂 people never learn
They have since closed the road leading to the Ford so no more of these videos
Knew that Escort was gonna die straight away lol the air intake ducting is directly on the front grile, any water hits the front its being sucked up. Wouldn't dare go through with a stock air intake, on mine I moved the intake to a cone filter in the wiper scuttle. Stays dry that way until water is windscreen level lol and has brought intake temps down to just one degree above ambient. As for the push with a bumper not the first time i've seen that done to an Escort- I've done it twice! First time I had my alternator fail on my way home the once, as i pulled into my estate battery died, my dad was behind me asked him to run home and grab the spare charged battery, two mins later he comes back WITHOUT the battery and goes 'I've had an idea, i'm gonna push you with my bumper' LMAO! Second time was the battery died and I had it as a bump start
I had a push start in my MK 2 Escort back in the day by my cousin in his Toyota Celica, just used a cushion between the cars lol.
I'd really be interested what rivers and fords you have to wade through on a regular basis that you felt the need to reroute your air intake? To me this sounds equal to somebody who lives at the equator and feeling the need to install additional heatings to their car or a death valley resident who installs additional wipers
@@Lexor888 it’s not for driving through water, it’s a direct route to cold air, the water situation is a handy additional feature.
@@KylesCarsYT But if the stock intake is "directly at the front grille" it should already get the coldest air possible. Nevermind, if you feel like it helps it's okay - thanks for the fast reply.
@@Lexor888 stock intake had a +10-15 degrees from ambient, moving the to a cone filter in the top scuttle brought intake temperatures to basically ambient temps (only 1-2 above ambient) Even after a hard drive with a red hot engine bay, the intake manifold runners are ice cold to touch now, wheras before you could feel some warmth. All tested using live data from the ECU
Commentary is so on point lol 😆
🤣 "Double de-clutching, like in a Countach" LOL
KEEP THE CONTENT COMING
wow, that 7th time the "rough ford" joke was extra funny
Happy to hear 👍
Best series ever
Your commentary really making this better. A fun sport of some sort. And love reading the comments here more than other yt's that post.
Thank you :)
4:06 THE DOG IN THE VAN, I'M CRYING
It blows my mind how stupid some people are, that it makes you wonder how they’re allowed a licence.
"see their [Mercedes'] brakes are steaming from their track day" 🤣🤣🤣 HAHAHAH
This is just so much fun to watch
6:51 some people just enjoy chaos…. And I’m here for it 😂😂😂 he’s the new “sinister girl in front of burning house” meme.
Love the dog in the van at 4:05 lol
Adam has a proper BBC voice and style. Awesome videos, keep it up :)
Commentary Gold! Cheers Adam!
It’s the blub blub mini again!!!
I'm surprised so many have got through it Considering all the videos I seen of them getting stuck, but then again videos of care getting stuck are more entertaining then those who get through 😂
Let’s go another epic vid
I love this!
Excellent commentary, very funny 😂
Shout out the the guy with the JH Diesel hat. Pleasantly surprised to see that in Europe.
Love the commentary 👌
So cool 9:15 side pipe because it's a wheelchairvan I think because of the weird rear bumper.
Brilliant video again, seen that Hulk van at car shows.
Very satisfying. Nice commentary! 😀😃😀
Keeps on giving 😂🍻
The "Going through like a renegade" one was funny cause of that one it was a Renegade 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, that was the point
love these videos 🤣
9.22, side pipe as its got a wheelchair ramp in the back, its like a wheelchair accessible vehicle, hence a lot of stuff got moved so theres space for the ramp in the back
the minis bubbles 🤣😂 thats a nice Audi parked in the background 😍 Nice Focus RS 😍 That poor Escort ☹OMG his phone that was so bad😨Another brilliant video 😃
So many comments, so many emojis….. 😂😢😮😅😊🎉
The Kia has a modified rear to take a wheel chair ramp or lift hence the exhaust move
Missed a trick...
It was an affordable rough ford, running ROUGH after fording through rufford ford :)
Great point!
That big guy in the orange shirt with the Blue escort has been there in vids before, you'd think he would have learnt.
Great video. And nice to show Ben too who I think was indeed the OG of these vids?
Another awesome video. I must drive my skoda fabia mk2 1.2 tsi threw it lol. That black one was the 1.2 htp.
Nothing kills a 90s ford except max power and rust…
That Escort is the first car I’ve witnessed recover after a hydrolock. Truly exceptional.
Side exit onthe KIA Sedona is because its a motability vehicle and had a wheelchair lift fitted and the route it would usually take is now restricted so its routed to the side. Sadly no v8 fitted.
WITTY commentary makes this the BEST of many splash vids. Lovely job!
I was surprised at 15:21 we get to see a ford turn into a boat car for a second ahaha
04:04 the dog waiting for his turn lol
I’m a proud survivor of a deep puddle this weekend after watching these videos 🤣
Go on numpties
Rev it harder and bend the conrods even more
Great vlog Adam 🚘🚘🚘
4:04 the dog waiting for his turn to cross the ford
I have a Nissan CrashCry CVT auto. It sucks.
The Escort was an affordable rough Ford fording Rufford ford.
There is a clip of a moped guy hitting the ford at high speed and cartwheeling over the handlebars.
Looks like a grand day out at Rufford Ford.
4.06 the special driver of thw blue van looks concerned the only way a Bull breed knows how 😂
The dog in the truck and the one clap hand, I'm dying
Love the commentary Very Funny👍
🤣🤣🤣 can't wait for more!!!!!
The one handed clap 😂
big SUV's clearing the ford? sure
but gosh, the sense of catharsis when a small plucky econobox does the sensible thing, wades through slowly and makes it to the other end.
Defenitively an very unic and EPIC channel,.here also in costa rica there is a lot of rural áreas with roads crossings Rivers...!!while enjoying your videos, please everyone stay safe while rivercrossing..Blessings🌞💪💯💦
for some reason loving it
brake disc sales must have doubled that day. :P
4:05 that dog is thinking " I ain't gonna risk it!"
These videos make my day it's great, poor cars 🤣🤣
People like that guy in the Focus RS are what will spoil this. He’s got no intention of using the ford, just wants to show off to the crowds.
Slightly upset about the escort, but if the owner has any common senses he'll take it for an immediate service,
The discovery II got me good I'm thinking "Noooo you cant kill my favourite car!"
So Wholesome
why can't I stop watching these?
You can smell the fumes of excitement almost 🏴🏴🏴🌊🚗
Bro i was at sherwood forest centre parcs the other week and its right next to rufford ford, we went past it and remembered its closed
11:25 Rip too this guy who tried to help
"blub blub blub blub"
14:00 In fact, you can decarbonized an engine by gently dropping water to a running engine but preferably distilled water,
More of these vids pls!
10:48 everyone knew this would fail😂
idk why this is so entertaining and why so many ppl just gather here to chill lol
