Looks amazing my friend. I am happy to have witnessed this transformation thus far.
Thanks so much.. 🙏😬
Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey, its coming together very nicely. I have noticed that the panhard bar bushing needs a bigger washer to cover over the bar. If the bushing was to fail the bigger washer would keep the rear axle from shifting to either side and cause an accident. Just want you to be safe. You put so much time and effort into this Celica. I would hate to see it get wrecked by a simple $1.00 washer. Keep up the awesome content.
Thanks.
And yes… I’ll be getting one on there asap. 🙏
Can you do some Nissan S12 videos !!?? 🤗✌️
I Would love to..
But sold the s12 Sorry…

I’m curious on your engines displacement ? Because putting a 3tc crankshaft bumps it to 1.8 liters
It’s 1.6 L.
@@DavidRoadworthyish I got a 3tc crankshaft and rods. I had a machine shop flycut the piston and used that set up with 90mm pistons
nice. any machining needed for the block etc.
@@Jlb-fz7nl
@@DavidRoadworthyish The only thing I remember is on the bottom most travel of #2 connecting rod the bearing cap gets very close to an inside webbing on the block that needs a little bit removed for clearance. It’s been a long time since I did it. I ended up using 90 mm pistons custom made by Arias. I used a 2TG block and 2TG rods. But the factory bottom end of those Toyota T motors were just awesome and very tough. A 2 liter T motor with decent parts are capable of 200 hp . The crankshaft has 5 main bearing caps
It seems like you have an office job. And you're very capable, but you're making a few graves. Mistakes, and that's lifting up the car with no second. Jack stands for a problem, so the car doesn't fall on you since you're by yourself. It's great that you're trying new things. But you have to think about safety. And you're not doing any search. Your homework about that I suggest That's the next video
Why Would I have an Office job 🤷♂️🤔
And yeah… years of Racing and lifting the car with AC hydraulics Jacks, just really tought me to trust it. And for smaller things, I do.
When I work on it, it’s almost always on jack stands.
Thanks for your concern, but I’m down with the PPE for the most parts.
