  • Replacing the windshield on my Toyota Celica, since it was cracked and was leaking water like crazy. I ended up cracking the new windshield anyway but at least there’s no leak. I hope at least. Better than before .

I painted a few cars with Rustoleum latex 2x & I like the paint but in our area after sun & snow it really starts to get pulled off the car in 3 years or so without any clear on it and I'm not entirely sure how well enamel clear goes on top of latex paint or not. Down in Texas it seems to be fine so maybe it is mostly the snow & also superior paint prep surface. If you can garage the car though it will last. But good news is that car is still one color and I re-sprayed the heck out of it with automotive grade clear & did just fine, no masking. Cheap $500 car.
You could use a silicone sealer after cleaning the dirt to seal it up either home depot or permatex. (if your window wasn't cracked)
Wow great work. Yeah putting in a windshield is a #^%# I pulled 2 from Pick n Pull, broke one in the parking lot they gave me a refund luckily. Did with like a $20 kit or something Maybe $30. Put tons of padding in your car & plan on laying it flat curve side up (don't support it from the two edges when laying flat). Never accidentally put pressure onto it, guaranteed to crack especially if its not in it's designated form fit channel on the car. (thoughts if you ever do your own new glass for it.)

I’ll fix the cracks with some stickers lol. Yea windshield went in and out like 10 times, it got frustrating. The game changers was the suction cups, I felt that I would apply pressure evenly.

@@kelvinarreola get some windshield silicone. I did it once but dash level crack. On outside or inside makes it more legal looking I think
