Yet more misinformation and lies passed on by far right extremists who tend to have mental health problems. Honestly, Russia committed one of the most successful PSY-OPS of all time to get both the far right and far left to simp for Putin as he had Russia illegally invade a sovereign and democratically elected independent nation against Article II of the UN Charter and against the Minsk Accords. Both the far right and far left would be against these illegal crimes normally but Putin, Trump, FoxNews and even some far left streamers have backed this illegal invasion. "Things" have always been this way. What is different are the events that you're aware of and tying to unrelated events in order to make a statement about things getting since the pandemic. For example, even before the pandemic and this Russian incursion in the last decade we've had
      -civil war in Syria
      -Saudi Arabia-Yemen war (ongoing)
-Ebola outbreak in Africa that wasn't contained to one country
-ISIS attacking people in *mainland Europe* (France and Belgium)
-a suicide bomber *on* UK soil
-the worst mass shooting in US history

@@radschele1815 Historically, the original Nazis were the Germans under Hitler during WWII. To this day, Nazism is still predominantly associated with WWII era Germans. Now Putin's claim is probably that far right nationalist groups among Ukrainians are Nazis or, as they are often called nowadays, neo-Nazis, since their ideologies or philosophies or beliefs are similar or comparable or related. The Jews were the well-known victims of WWII nazism. Israel is the country founded by Jews after the Holocaust of WWII. It would be an extreme irony, if Putin's denazification means his Russian troops are fighting against Israelis, who are present-day Jews, descended from the ethnic group of the victims, and not the German Nazi mass murderers. That is, instead of having his troops fight against Nazis, who were historically the Germans, so I used Germans for humorous effect, although the groups that Putin is calling Nazis should be Ukrainians. The critical fact to keep in mind, however, is that those far right Ukrainian groups are not in control of the Ukrainian government. Otherwise, a Jew like Zelenskyy would obviously not become president.
Anyway, the gist of my sarcasm is that if Israel sends Ukraine military aid, Putin's troops would be fighting against, in a sense, the opposite of what they claim: Jews, not Nazis. But then again, Putin could claim all Jews have become Nazis. Yeah, and the moon is made of cheese. You can't argue with someone who has lost his grip on reality or just lying through his teeth.

I do think that Zelenskyy and the Ukranian government should look into the Nazi problematic. They have had "free reing" over some parts of Ukraine where Nazism is prevalent in sectors of the government, authority institutions such as the police and civilian population. Even if they are a minority generally speaking, they are taking part in the combatant population and they do pose a risk because they most surely will win influence and power after the war. We all know how that could result if a fart right movement surges because of the extreme conditions that Ukraine is facing and will face even after the war.
