Because I’ve grown melons before I’d advise you stop cutting off the stems aka tendrils. They are stems that give structure and support to the plant and do not sap nutrients. From what you read they probably meant extra offshoots. I’d also advise you to keep one melon, and most importantly, keep the closest tendril to the melon as that will help you indicate when it is ripe. When the tendril nearest to the melon dries you’ll know that the melon’s water intake is complete. I recommend you wait a week or two after the tendril is completely dry to harvest. Besides that your plant looks healthy and fine. Good luck! Ps: don’t listen to the comments that say the melon is ripe when the bottom is yellow or creamy. That has been proven to be false.

I'd add some fertilizer, it's a bit pale. Meaning it could use more nitrogen. Also most melons require a decent amount of heat to sweeten. Also don't over water as this can lead to less sweet melons.
if you had like 10 pineapple planted the same time and 10 pineapple per year added with the pineapple from the wild and man made ones it will be millions and if we ran out of pineapple we wait months
Hello, I have planted a few of the plants you have here and I know a bit about how to care for them. The trees you have would enjoy being gently shaken once in a while, it mimics wind blowing them and strengthens the roots. The pineapple you replanted is a bromeliad, they grow very slowly so patience is key. If you grew this from the top of a pineapple fruit (it looks like you did) then note this one will most likely not fruit. It will make baby pineapple plants and those will grow fruits. This process takes a few years.
@@g09h did you not see how long the plant has grown. 2 metres he said in video. It will easily take two watermelons. Only good soil and manure is needed. Adaptation is the key to life. The plant will adapt itself to grow 2 watermelons provide proper care is taken
Slivki, ALL yr vids are amazing 🤩🤩🤩 I can’t get enough of them. I’m an old sub of yrs and even though I found the voice change difficult to accept at first, I know really like it and must congratulate u on yr perfect English 👍🏻 So cute the baby watermelon and I laughed when u said we have a suicidal plant 🌱 Thank u for yr dedication, hard work and extremely interesting topics. God Bless u 🙏🏻
A couple of things that can help. Use a small oscillating fan blowing on the plant. It simulates the wind and will make the stems stronger and resist breakage. Also, an electric toothbrush is an excellent pollinator.
Im new and I literally love how first, the praying mantas is named 💫GIUSEPPE💫, second that little roach is just chillin, and that 💫suicidal melon💫 is absolutely beautiful all your plants are
6:50 just keep one, maybe two water melons if the plants get larger. The fewer the bigger and richer the taste of the watermelon will be, i also recommend lots of water, as the flesh of the water melon, as the name implies, contains a lot of water.
keep the stem on the floor it will not harm it and some leaf on the bottom of the fruit of the watermelon they are creeper not climber so feel free to let them creep the floor I have also grown a watermelon in a pot it is ez and cut the older leaves so that the fruit will get nourishment
I hope you guys have large plot for the mango tree, the roots are massive and grow super deep! We have a white pirie that’s been around for 50+ years and our plumbing is constantly backing up because the roots like to tangle around the pipes 😆
If you're doing small plants and want them to save energy you can prune the oversized leaves in half and your tree can be trained to grow smaller leaves. It's a method for pruning bonsai style trees that may help when your mango tree grows new giant leaf sprouts that shade the old ones. A plant indoors can tend to concentrate too much energy into anywhere that gets a little more light and grows bunches of big leaves competing with one another in that area. Only thing I can't say with certainty is how much that may effect you getting the same quality of food from the plant, but I suspect it will be more consistent if leaves don't block each other.
So about the water melon....... Usually I use to plant it in my back yard when it grows larger But if you don't have a back yard. You could plant it in a bigger pot or in a container But I suggest moving it in a bigger container With that you can add more soils and you could also observe the root growing Edit:sorry if there's a bad word/bad grammar
That is just amazing!!! Now, you should grow two watermelons instead of one. But i suggest you to put the watermelon in a really big big container, try to make you own very big container out of wood, steel if you're good at welding or at least make a waterproof container. If you chose wood, put some silicone on the inside part of the wood so the water doesn't touch the wood. Try sharing another video next week about the watermelon! I really wanna see what will happen!
In outdoors field conditions, Water Melons don't need trimming of any kind. As long as they receive enough water and the soil has been prepared with sufficient nutrients. However, while growing indoors and in a tiny container, keeping one or two is of course much better😊
I advise from years of experience only grow one fruit two will b3 more but they will split nutrients and need more also if you want two melons you will need to add more dirt or get bigger pot because not enough nutrients will wipe out a plant in a matter of hours
You should make a poll on your video! in youtube editor I think you can make one, or you can make a community post if you haven't already, I'm a new viewer lol

What type of water melon seeds did you use please you really inspired me to grow a 🍎 🍑 🌳 and some how I got a 🍍 🪴 but they were already grown when I bot them so I wanna start clean
So what should we do? Shall we grow one or two melons?))
Grow 9
Grew mango tree
Boing boing
Grow some papayas
2
Allow a melon embryo to be fertilized every 2 weeks or so to ensure a steady supply and the plant will top out at 3-4 melons at a time!

Fun fact : Pineapple needs 2 years to fully grown
I have a pineapple plant,good to know 👍🤗
Just to grow? Not producing any pineapple
yeah it can take up to FIVE years at maximum
no wonder why it's so expensive
And then four years to grow the fruit
Fun fact: plants actually move a lot their just to slow for the human eye.
yes they do, they can actually move quite a lot in a 12 hour period.

Grow 2 watermelons as if one fails or something happens to one we always have the second one
Yea but on the other hand that will require mor “power” from the plant so it might bring success rate down

In gardening, you typically make a hammock for large fruits like watermelons out of netting. Works well for other large fruits like Squash.
