Well if you see the first video there were a lot more, in this it's look that there are only 3... so yes, 3 of like 8 it's not a good number, also this fishes only live 1-2 years...
The so called "red maggots" are actually called bloodworms we usually use them to feed fish like you did in the fish tank hobby. i hope you can use this information for good use in the next recording. (this is for the smaller type of worms i do not know the name of the larger one)
Yeah the first are blood worms, the third are sludge worms and the second I dont know. I believe they all grow and reproduce in very low quality water.
what beautiful killifish! sadly though they wont live long after this (different species live from 3-9 months) but they'll surely lay eggs that you can raise again!
The fish are killifish, and the red worms are tubifex or blood worms, a common fish food. We normally get them freeze dried, but you can get them live if you know where to go.
For people interested and not particularly well versed in the aquarium hobby, these are kilifish. they naturally live in ponds that dry up every year so they lay eggs that can survive drought and then hatch when wet. There are many varieties and are usually very colorful. please research if you plan to get some and also know they rarely live past a year due to the natural flooding and drought cycle they come from
I like the fact that the thumbnail actually showed us a big fish and I was like 'wait, really? Did that happen?' But throughout the whole video, it was just the casual size.
Slivki Show your videos are so good and interesting as they are, just take a picture and make the thumbnail of what ACTUALLY happened in the video, please don't clickbait
The worms are called blood worms and are a common food used to feed aquarium fish and animals incl frogs, salamanders ans alot of other small aquatic animals
Please dont go the wrong road, dont go click baiting
Yeah that's just not his style and makes me want to unsub.
I knew it's a click bait, but because I'm a fan, I'll allow it... He probably intended it as a joke... 😉😉
I'm replying just to get this comment can get higher up...
He really can't go down that road... This is a good channel..
Yes, please don’t become click bait
Glad I'm not the only one noticing that
"the Chinese promised the fish will be beautiful"
Me: those fish better be beautiful
Kilifish
Those fish are called killifish and the one fish who died was the one who acted like a catfish was acually having a bad swim bladder
I thought it looked familiar, I have killifish and I thought this looked like one
Ye, that coloration looks like a gardeni killifish
I remember a comment that says
Those fishes wont last long

Killifish actually don’t live long. They are seasonal fish. They die out when the rain puddles dry out leaving only their eggs.
Its fish haha
By that they probably meant that the killis had a short lifespan.
You know that there's kids when there are 16 "first" comments.
Hmm Yes

Those are tubifex worm

Depending on the species of killifish, they can age up to two years in aquariums. Not in nature though.
I just found out they were killifish

Would they be able to breed and produce more fish? Or is this some incest thing

Not necessarily incest 'cause they probably mix all the eggs together. Either way they can breed.
