I just wanna say I really appreciate how you shoot these with several weeks of results in one video. I watch so many other CZcamsr’s where you have to follow along for multiple weeks and videos to see progress, but you always manage to group it all in one video and I LOVE it!

God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest!

Been breeding kill is for 40+ years and you’ve done well getting so many fry. Lots of guys just selling damp peat. A big thing in the killi community is not cross breeding them, trying to keep the strains pure, as many are endangered in the wild. Really you should have kept the two types apart because when they grow the males will be very distinct as in your photos. The females, however, all look very similar, not unlike a female guppy.
You’re doing the right thing with the third lot, good luck, hope you get a good hatch.

Normal Mollies are even distinguishable and they can be practically almost identical, but can still tell if it is male or female.

And it's nice to see when it doesn't work, the true side behind fishkeeping where not everything goes to plan. Keep up the amazing work, you have been a huge inspiration for me to keep fish myself!

I've been raising Killies for about 5 years now. My best advice? Do not buy your killifish eggs from Glasgow (The seller keeps changing his name). The fella is one of the main sellers on ebay and he has a horrible attitude and is basically selling bags of dirt. The various "eggs" I received were always freshly harvested which means you will have to wait 3 months before you can try and hatch them and too late to complain. Of course there is no reason for you to believe me but I feel better for warning you. If you can, stick to the private sellers. Out of 5 species from the Glasgow sellers (there's two of them that live in the same street) I managed to hatch ONE egg. Never had a failure from other sellers.

This video's given me another potential option of getting some eggs and raising the fry up to adulthood. I already breed ricefosh, so It should be fairly easy to raise these guys. Hi Ive been keeping killifish on and off for 45 years keeping mostly annuals. The species you have can be stored in peat and hatch but they are more often water hatched in 2-3 weeks.Storing them for 1-2 months extra will not work esp the A.australe. Some of the gardeneri clan can be stored in peat for a while. The true annual killifish are Nothobranchius in Africa and the old name "Cynolebias"in South America which are now divided into lots of new genera usually ending in-lebias.The fish you have are not rare. Most months AI or Bayfish will stock them.I hope you were not ripped off paying lots for the eggs.

Just a quick note if you already don’t know, these are not true annual killifish. Their eggs hatch in only 3 weeks. These come from forest streams in Nigeria or Cameroon. True annuals come from East Africa in temporary pools that dry up. These are from the Genus Nothobranchius. Also you shouldn’t mix species as females are extremely hard to tell from each other.

Oh it's killifish, I watch some videos of how to breed them recently. Really unique fish as how you need to incubate the egg out of water for like a month before it can hatch. From what I learn, the eggs should be keep at a moist peat (not too watery or too dry) so you need to squeeze the peat it a bit to remove the water and when they are ready to hatch you can see the eyeball on the eggs.
