That cell phone remote controle reminds me of way back in the 90's my dad had a wrist watch that could connect to TVs and become the remote controller. This was peek technology back then. I was sick as a child and had to go to the hospital and the wait times were really long. We sat in a waiting room with a TV that had the news on. So my Dad used hit watch to connect to the TV and he put on some cartoons for me.

The magnet is safe for the smartphone, Magnets don't harm tech as much as people think. The only threat they really create is against hard drives

The spike strip for shoes is great. But has a design flaw. When you walk or descend stairs, 3:49 your heels touch the ground first and then the toes. There should have been another strip for the heels, OR it could have been a one piece covering both heel and toes.

That magnet case, yessir, perfectly safe. Magnets cause no harm to the antennas of modern smartphone, but i doubt that for older phones. The only threat would be to TVs or any such devices that get affected by a magnetic field, like fitbits etc.

In general, magnets are not dangerous to smartphones. As long as you are not using industrial strength electromagnet or anything like that :)
Most electronics aren't very vulnerable to magnetic fields, but there are a couple of exceptions like spi Ning magnetic harddrives and old CRT TVs.
Many smartphones are designed to use inductive charging, and that is also a magnetic field after all. The only thing I am not so sure about is if inductive charging might be a bit worse when you have a metal plate between the charger like this. It won't cause damage at the very least.

Magnets are safe for smartphones because they don't have moving parts. Magnets are also safe for computers that don't have a hard drive. SSDs, m.2 drives or usb drives also can't be wiped by magnets.
But all smart phones use SSDs for their storage.
