Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful Brandi!
Nice and helpful!!! im thinking of buying one. Do you know what is the minimum circle radius that can be done? thanks!
It is possible to rout very small circles if you use the supplied template guide bushes with a suitable template Chris. :-)
Nice video! You wouldn't happen to know what size hex head nuts those are? Looks like an M5, but screw does not fit. I lost one somehow and manual does not provide size.
The thread is imperial, not metric. I do not have any metric tap and die sets to check what type it is. I suspect it is a 3/16 unc thread, but am not sure. :-)
Nice one Russell...Hope your well mate :-)
Hi Russ. All well down here, hope you are all OK too! :-)
Ty!

So far I've found the router attachment to be quite frustrating. The plunge assembly is too loose on the guide posts making it difficult to impossible to route a straight line even using the edge guides. Any suggestions? Thanks.
On of the base posts was loose on mine and needed tightening with a flat headed screwdriver. It is held in place by a nut under the base. Also make sure that the 4 securing screws on the parallel edge guide are all tight, if one was loose it could affect the router. Other than that, I have no idea Rod. :-)
Thanks. I also tried tightening the right handle after I plunged into the wood but it didn't help much. Seems now that there is too much flex between the Dremel tool itself and router attachment. The mounting nut is tight. Will contact Dremel too. Thanks again.
Hi. Can this plunge fit on non dremel die grinder?.
It depends. I think some brands are compatible. :-)
bought this yrs a go. maybe 10. never used it. now selling it.. 40.00 not sure if i should keep it now.
Decisions, decisions! :-)
@@RussellPlatten lol. I kept it. had it posted to sell.. cjanged my mind. now ill try it out..se if i can get use out of it. I see it online USA, for 40.00 and more, plus 20.00 shipping.. so, its def a comdity! classice and hard to find. i male also make one..
everything is made of plastic, even the coils for tighten the screws. makes me question about its durability
It is not designed for professional use and it is a little flimsy, but it still gets the job done and is cheap. If you want a machine that is more durable, try a 1/4" router. :-)
