Just bought one of these, along with the bench - wish I'd watched this video first, those setup and calibration tips are gold. One thing I did notice is the main blade screw has some play in it as I tighten it up (my makita circular saw blade screw does the same). Obviously the screw doesn't move once it's tight, but it doesn't seem quite central when it's spinning (visually off center, slight wobble). The blade itself does NOT wobble whilst running. This behaviour may be normal, but is slightly disconcerting. Trial cuts seem fine, and I've done a bunch of skirting/architrave without issue. Just wondering if this screw thing is normal/expected?

Hi Russell, i just bought the 2920 this week. I am using every bit of your video. Mine did come with paper instructions. Your assemble instructions are spot on. Your right, the stand bolts are a booger to get aligned. So, since the nuts are welded on the bottom, I aligned the hole with a screw driver to get in the 3rd bolt. Then, bravely stood it up; what a beast ! Almost lost it. Once stood up for the 4th bolt, went in easily. Had to drag it about 6 feet on cardboard it came with; what a beast...very, very, top heavy. 2 people. Excellant video Russell. Thank you very much

Hello, thank you for your setting demonstration. As far as checking squareness is concerned, I prefer the machinist's square with the DIN875 standard or BS 939 for you Brits. These carefully kept and handled little tools are used to check everything, including your favourite and usual squares. That's how my old Sandvik bracket ended its career as a signpost to the loo... Greetings from the Ardennes.

Great review. Concise & covering everything I needed to know. I think I'm going to pick one up for working in customers' homes & as a general workshop hoover for cleaning up. I have a Stanley Fatmax shop vac hooked up to a cyclone/sawdust bucket which then runs through 40mm waste pipes around my workshop to blast gates at each tool (table saw, belt sander, mitre saw etc...). With all the tools going to a power strip that then plugs in to the take-off plug, it's a very easy system to use. However, the hose which I use for things like the tracksaw & orbital sander also acts as my shop cleanup hose & it regularly blocks up. Having a separate vac dedicated to cleanup will eliminate that issue & I can leave the main system exclusively for the tools. Also, the small size makes it easy to tuck away when not in use as my workshop is not massive. This seams ideal & at a decent price.

I have mine on my back porch. It is on my WIFI system which may not get the best coverage. I do have an ethernet cable from my router plugged into a network switch there. My camera is powered by 110vac on my back porch. Can I also plug the camera's ethernet into my switch on my back porch to ensure a good connection?
